20.01.2022 What a win for the Orbost community... $3.5 million to start the restoration of the historic Snowy River Railway Trestle Bridge. I’ve supported the community ca...mpaign for the past few years and today the State Government announced its funding support. We had been hoping to get all the money required through the bushfire recovery package but this will certainly help as we strive to rejuvenate the East Gippsland Rail Trail. It’s going to require a bit more funding to link everything together but we are on the way... Well done to everyone involved in the community for advocating so strongly to save the trestle bridge from being demolished by neglect. #lovegippsland
