19.01.2022 Quiet achiever Bannockburn have released their new wines this week, with their Serre the most eagerly anticipated. Last year, the Halliday 99-point awarded wine sold out within a week. This Serre is vibrant and pure, an elegant expression of Pinot with a beautifully balanced palate of fruit and spice. Certified Organic, the site is mature and produces some of the most exceptional Riesling and Shiraz in a region becoming increasingly regarded as a benchmark for both. Powerful but refined, with opulence and minerality which is the hallmark of the site. Even more so when we learnt that this family run estate is entirely off-grid, powered by solar energy only.
