25.01.2022 Were getting quite a few people asking us if we have any clients stranded overseas during this pandemic Covid crisis. We can assure everyone that World On Wheels has no-one stuck overseas looking for a way to get home. We were halfway through our Yaks n Yetis tour of Nepal / India / Bhutan when we became aware of impending border closures and government restrictions. We took the difficult decision to terminate the tour early and fly out while we still could, and everyone m...ade it back home in a timely manner. We did have a group of 16 heading to Morocco at the end of this month, but this obviously has had to be cancelled. Or rather, postponed for an indefinite period of time. Stay safe out there peeps, the world is a dangerous place right now. We can only hunker down and see out the storm, whilst we hope and prepare for brighter skies ahead.

09.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to this legend. When I started Ferris Wheels Motorcycle Safaris 26 years ago, my dad Austin Ferris said, Hm, interesting career move... He ...then quietly went about acquiring his motorcycle license at the tender age of 65 so he could be part of my inaugural Himalayan Heights tour, in 1995. He turned 90 earlier this year in Tassie but I havent been able to see him thanks to the Covid Blues. Here he is with his granddaughter, my niece (and thanks for the photo!)
