25.01.2022 HALF TIME ACE 0 vs ST GEORGE 0 A tight first half as we expected; not many chances, as we expected. St George had two good chances but were denied both times by last-ditch goal-saving tackles from the ACE defence. For ACE, Sean Lewis has headed over from a corner, Steve Snaith shot wide and Yuya Ono drilled a shot at the keeper.
25.01.2022 FINAL SCORE ACE WOMEN 3 TOOWONG WOMEN 2 Amazing! ACE left it late, but they have done it again with another late, late show to snatch victory in the closing minutes. Morgan-Lee Martin struck twice before Rebecca Voigt came up with the winner to finally break the Toowong resistance. What a finish and response to last weeks defeat. Credit must also go to ACE keeper Jess Broadfoot who kept her side in the game with a string of fine saves. This could put ACE comfortably inside the top four. No wonder everyone was smiling at the end! GO ACE!
23.01.2022 GREAT SEASON | The ACE Under 14 BYPL team were close to top spot. They only lost one and drew one game of the regular season and were 10 points clear of their nearest rival for second place! Plenty to be proud of and plenty to look forward to next season. Well done players, coach, manager and supporters.
23.01.2022 Well done to Under 14 Division 1, who are currently undefeated for the season. Not only are they having a stellar season on the pitch, they also display exemplary sportsmanship that our Club is very proud of. A compliment from their opposition Capalaba FC below. Well done team! Capalaba FC U14 / 1 wishes to thank Darren, JP, and the players for what was a great match over the weekend. The game was tense and competitive throughout and was played with a lot of spirit and energy... and made for great viewing by parents and supporters of both teams. It is deserving of a return match at ACEs home grounds but unfortunately that is unlikely to eventuate this season. Our boys were disappointed with the loss but as the opposing coach, credit must go to ACEs coaching staff and players for their come from behind win. Great teams find ways to win! As a parent of a player I can say that there are only a handful of clubs that you truly look forward to playing against due to the culture of the club and the behaviour of their players, parents, and supporters alike. Based upon Sundays match ACE is now on that list! Good luck in your endeavours for a perfect season and we look forward to playing ACE again in 2021.
23.01.2022 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALS! ACE RES 7 GRANGE RES 1 76 minutes Still the goals flow. Ethan Bryant hammered in the sixth before Matt Zappone completed his hat-trick, breaking through and firing a low shot across the kerper and in off the post.
22.01.2022 HALF TIME IPSWICH KNIGHTS 0 ACE WOMEN 0 Frustrating half for ACE and coach Jamie Sanckson, pictured. Knights are sitting deep and defending in numbers. ACE have had seven or eight decent chances but were not able to convert them. An early goal after the break might open this game up. GO ACE!
22.01.2022 FANTASTIC | Continuing our salute to ACE teams which finished in the top four, take a bow the Under 16 BYPL team - champions in a season like no other! A superb effort by the players, coaches and manager ... and detailed magnificently with match reports. Can't wait for next season!
22.01.2022 ACE WOMEN 1 TOOWONG 2 23 minutes Close match this in the Womens Capital League 1, as you would expect from the standings with just three points separating the sides. Morgan-Lee Martin, pictured, was on target for ACE after great work down the wing by Nat Finney. GO ACE!
21.01.2022 FULL TIME THE GAP RES 0 ACE RES 3 Good win for the ressies which will move them into the top half of the table. Hudson Speedy added the third in the 80th minute converting a cross by Zaki Ahmed. With a quick double by Nick Clarke and Kel Neil, it closed out a comfortable win with a scoreline which matched their chances. The three scorers, from left Nick Clarke, Kel Neil and Hudson Speedy, are pictured all smiles after the game. GO ACE
21.01.2022 We love the ACE five-a-side competition each year and it seems plenty of players and parents do too. It starts again tomorrow and here’s some of the comments and pictures we received: Thank-you ACE, for a brilliant first game. Weren't sure what to expect but had so much fun," said the Bend it like Becky team. Paula Stewart sent in a couple of pictures from the kindy teams Super Socceroos (yellow bibs) and the Gremlins. It was the first time that most of the kids had a go ...at running onto the field and playing a ‘real game’, and it was such a joyous moment to watch them participate as individuals first, before really starting to engage as a team and establish new friendships, said Paula. Thank you to the club for being so supportive of the grassroots games. Nathan Pain said of the Under 10 Ronaldonuts: A great bunch of kids who enjoy having fun at five-a-side each year. Carly sent us a picture of the under 7 Bro Goals showing off their new gear. They are mates from footy and for most of them this is their first-time playing soccer. They had an awesome first game! she said. Share pictures of your five-a-side team with us. Email them to [email protected] and we’ll do the rest. See more

20.01.2022 FINAL SCORE IPSWICH KNIGHTS 0 ACE WOMEN 9 Frustrations at a goalless first half led to the floodgates opening after the break and ACE are up into second place on the Capital League 1 ladder with a nine-goal salvo against bottom side Ipswich. Zaliah Jemeljanovs kicked it off rounding the keeper to score, before an own goal and Nat Finneys tap in, after Zaliahs shot was saved, made it 3-0. Nat produced a fine solo goal for the fourth, Morgan Schoener hit a 30 yarder for the fifth and Chloe Globke pounced on a defensive error for the sixth. Chloe scored the seventh finishing a fine team move, before Nat Finney scored her third and fourth goals of the night, first being played through and then with another solo effort. It puts ACE, pictured after the game, one point behind leaders North Brisbane tonight with both having played eight games.
19.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS | Remarkable season for the ACE women in Capital League 1. They bounced back from a torrid start, worked so hard, had a succession of thrilling finales and dramatic wins, reached the top four, only to slip out by the smallest of margins. ACE comfortably took the Plate competition and won a growing number of fans.
19.01.2022 GREAT SEASON | Our third top-two finish in three seasons ... a fantastic achievement by the ACE Senior Men.
