17.01.2022 Homelessness Week 2020 kicks off Monday 3 August. See below for Don Dunstan Foundation's curated selection of articles, videos and events focused on this critical social issue:

16.01.2022 $40 a day is not enough to let people live in dignity. Stories from amazing projects such as 550 Reasons to Smile show just how much the temporary raises of inc...ome support programs have changed lives. A higher rate of income support means less skipped meals, more warm clothes for winter and in some cases, being able to buy vital medications. This should be the bare minimum for every person in our community - regardless of their employment status. Join us in calling on the Australian Government to #RaisetheRateforGood sign the statement and join the day of action on Tuesday 14 July. Find out more: https://raisetherate.org.au

04.01.2022 As South Australia prepares for our 'circuit-breaker' from 12am, we think of all of the individuals and families this will hit hardest. Wyatt is open for business. It may take a little longer for us to get back to you, but we will continue to provide grants to those in need.

04.01.2022 Like all South Australians, at The Wyatt Trust our thoughts have been with the bushfire impacted communities here and across the country. We know that while the immediate threat is past for some areas, and other communities remain at risk, the road to recovery will be long and requires sustained support and energy. There have been many announcements of funding and relief measures for those impacted by the bushfires and these are welcomed. As individual’s and community’s immed...iate emergency needs are met, The Wyatt Trust is considering how we can best meet the medium to longer-term needs of those South Australians who are rebuilding after this disaster. With a legacy of over 130 years, The Wyatt Trust understands the challenges people face. In response to the recent bushfires we will walk with our fellow community members to offer our support where we can to rebuild hope and livelihoods. Please check our website for future updates on our bushfire response.
