10.01.2022 Thursday 10th September is R U OK? Day. Everyone in Buloke can get involved by wearing a touch of yellow on this day, especially when they are out and about doing their daily exercise. They can reach out to friends and family and ask R U OK? and most importantly learn what to do next if they say no, Im not ok. Collectively Neighbourhood Houses across Buloke support their communities to stay healthy and well and they are asking everyone to learn what to say next. It is ea...sy to ask are you ok?, but much harder to know what to say after. Neighbourhood Houses offer many forms of support and can refer individuals to their nearest health service providers and to relevant online support programs. This Thursday 10th September the Buloke Neighbourhood Houses, supported by Buloke Shire Council, will be offering a range of activities to raise awareness of R U OK? Day. Information on what to say next, suicide prevention and other support services referrals are available at your local neighbourhood house.#BulokeRUOK? #RUOK Wycheproof Newsagency Wyche Yoga Wycheproof, Victoria Wycheproof Grain Company Pty Ltd IGA Wycheproof Wycheproof Fire Brigade Wycheproof Post Office and speciality gifts Mt. 09.01.2022 TOOT TOOT is rain a comin ? If you havent been to Wycheproof, then put it on your Must-do-list. It is one of the few towns that has a railway line right... through the centre of the main street. Although, locals are used to seeing the trains travelling down the track, it still brings much excitement to hear the tooting, especially when you hear it echo. According to (almost) Wyche Folklore, when you hear a train echo it means there will be rain. Wyche local, Jackie Noonan was out running earlier this week, when she heard the echo of the Southern Shorthaul Railroad, she took this photo and yep, there was light sprinkle of rain the next day.
