And that’s especially great news for tradies and local farmers who are just starting cropping season and rely on the business for sourcing parts and hardware. It’s actually quite busy because of last year’s bumper harvest, Terry said. Most farmers are requiring more parts and are carrying out extra maintenance. Bernie, who reopened the Hardware in 2014 with sister Therese, said it appeared lots of locals were tackling home improvement and gardening projects in recent weeks. People are obviously very keen to do jobs at home and have been supporting us really well, she said. And Terry’s really good with sourcing anything we don’t have in stock. He’ll find it and get it here via freight if it’s organised early enough he can usually get it in the same day.
