20.01.2022 This Sunday, May 1st, come rain or shine (and it WILL be shining!), Wyck will be at the Leura Harvest Festival. Beautiful Leura Mall will be closed to traffic, for a festival full of food, arts & crafts, produce, talks, wine & cider, kids activities and competitions (like the Jam-Making Competition and the Pet Chook Show!) - all from within a 100 mile radius. This is our home, and this is where we make our gorgeous candles - come and join us at this fabulous community event.

04.01.2022 France comes to the Thorpe! 16 months ago, Le Billot de Boucher (The Butchers Block) relocated from Carcoar to the picturesque village of Milthorpe, and not only did this delightful homewares store become Bigger, Bolder and BETTER, it now boasts an indoor/outdoor French caf featuring favourites such as Tarte Tatin, Crme Brulee, French Onion Soup with Gruyere toasts, along with flaky Croissants and crusty Baguettes. Youll also find lots of home-made conserves, chutneys ...and relishes utilising local produce, such as Fig & Ginger Jam, Yummy Tomato Relish and Mango Chutney. The homewares side of things continues to provide quirky kitchen products not easily found, as well as high end Louis XVI replica furniture - definitely a French theme going on here! And added to this gorgeous mosaic of Gallic style is a little piece of the Blue Mountains, with a range of beautiful Wyck candles. 04.01.2022 Glenbrook is not only the gateway to the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains, but a destination in itself just off the Great Western Highway is a beautiful village of interesting shopping and excellent coffee shops. The Glenbrook Visitors Information Centre, located on the edge of Glenbrook Park, is on the fringe of Glenbrook Village - easily accessible from both the Highway and the Village Centre. As well as first class tourist information services, including fully train...ed staff with expert local area knowledge and extensive booking services, there is a wide-ranging retail area featuring gorgeous Wyck candles amongst a great range of souvenirs and tourist needs. Come and check out this part of the Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centres family - as well as being an almost compulsory stopping point on the way up the Mountains to help you plan your visit, its also a great place for locals to come and browse and choose their favourite Wyck candles!

03.01.2022 Perched on the edge of the escarpment, on the traditional land of the Gundungurra and Darug People, the Echo Point precinct provides stunning panoramic views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness, and the iconic Three Sisters. Any visit to the area should start at the Echo Point Visitors Information Centre, or EPIC as the locals call it (yes, we know we lost a V somewhere). The Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centres offer free tour, attraction and acc...ommodation booking services, but above all the friendly, fully trained staff have the local knowledge needed to help you get the most out of your visit. Here on the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park, the views into the Jamison Valley are spectacular, and if you are contemplating a walk into the wilderness you can also borrow one of their personal locator beacons (PLBs). EPIC also offers an extensive retail outlet featuring exclusive Blue Mountains souvenirs, postcards and gifts. This is where youll find a gorgeous range of Wyck pillar and votive candles something for both visitors to take with them as a reminder of their trip to the beautiful Blue Mountains, and for locals to enjoy time and again.
