18.01.2022 Imagine you're at a banquet but it's not food or drink - it's a Bible banquet. There are 7,099 guests representing each language of the world but at one end of the table there is abundance whilst at the other there is no single verse of Scripture. How would you feel about a God who doesn't speak your language?

17.01.2022 Today we (Tim and Sharon Lithgow) drove (in heavy rain) to Hervey Bay for the funeral service for the unexpected death of Tony Hyett - a former director/CEO of Wycliffe Australia. I don't think I ever had the privilege of meeting him. As well as being a man with a heart for the well being of the Wycliffe members, he was a man who never let adversity slow him down. He had prosthetic lower legs from infancy, yet FULLY participated in the Jungle Camp he attended!

03.01.2022 MAD Oz, travelling through Central and Northern Australia, usually runs in the middle of each year. In 2018 Dave and the team will head further afield to Vanuatu. Planning is well underway for this short-term trip to see first-hand the translation work that is going on in villages on the islands of Tanna and Espiritu Santo. The group will fly between the islands, take a day trip to a live volcano, visit Port Vila and the Summer Institute of Linguistics Centre, encourage the... use of scripture in local languages through fun activities and meet many people working on various projects in Vanuatu. This trip is open to all over 18 years old but please be aware it could be physically challenging; the team will have to do a fair amount of walking in hilly terrain, will sleep in tents in the villages, eat local food and use local facilities. But, if you are up for it, Dave and co leaders Paul and Apryl have an opportunity for you to use your Ministry skills, be part of a great Adventure and Discover the beautiful nation of Vanuatu. For more information, or to submit an Expression of Interest form, go to our website: https://wycliffe.org.au/events/go-mad-vanuatu/
