14.01.2022 I just found this piece that l made from 27 years ago! My 1st semester, Jewellery & Object Design at Sydney College of the Arts. It was a simple technical sample / experiment of annealing copper and stamping. I have no idea why l came up with this circular calendar type thing..... but lm very happy with the letter spacing as its easy to stuff up if you don’t concentrate! Claire x

03.01.2022 Mementos of past travels.... Last year l was incredibly lucky to visit Amsterdam, a wonderful example of a progressive green city. The only noise is the heart of town was the soft whir of tiny electric cars and bicycle bells. My favourite purchase from our tramp abroad: A large modernist bronze casting memorialising a high voltage cable company from Holland. ... Very successful until Philips took it over and ran it into the ground ( although technological advances may have played a part... not really sure) I love the artistic aesthetic, it wipes the floor with current trophies: soulless glass prisms with engraved unknown acronyms...
