22.01.2022 WE ARE DESPERATE PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ We currently do not have enough volunteers to run our local Ambulance Service This does vary daily, and som...e days we have enough people, but often there’s only one person available and that’s our Community Paramedic. THAT’S NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE AN AMBULANCE IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE IN AN EMERGENCY! This is a SERIOUS issue for the WHOLE community. DO THE BEST POSSIBLE THING YOU CAN FOR YOUR COMMUNITY HELP OTHERS IN NEED! If you have a driver’s licence and a police clearance you CAN help us maintain this vital service PLEASE get on board! You don’t have to be available all of the time we need MANY people to just give a LITTLE of their time to provide this 24hr service. Just a few hours a week can be life saving! As mentioned above, you’ll never be thrown in the deep end. Plus, those kind of jobs you think we attend every day are VERY RARE! The majority of our work is transferring people to Kununurra Hospital. Join up, learn through training, start doing just transfers to Kununurra or non-emergency local jobs, and then see where your confidence takes you. Do I have to sit at the depot waiting for calls during a shift? NO. Being on call is just that, and like other country locations we operate a work from home roster. Your contacted for jobs either by the Community Paramedic, your Volunteer Ambulance Officer crew mate, or a mobile phone provided for when you’re on duty. We run a standard day shift, night shift roster but we can ACCOMMODATE YOUR AVAILABILITY. Will I be out all day/night when on shift? Unlikely. Just because you’re on call doesn’t mean you will attend a job. In fact, if everyone is safe and healthy you won’t get a call at all! Lack of call outs (thankfully, for our community) is the reason we train weekly, to ensure we’re as up to date as possible with all of our skills. So, why not join up today? There’s so much to gain, and we need more of our community to help out. We need those who CARE ABOUT WYNDHAM to join. The merchandise an...d other goodies have been patiently waiting to burst out of the boxes for everyone to enjoy, and the Beyond the Bastion Inc. committee are meeting next week to finalise a date later in the year which we'll advertise ASAP. Obviously we've been waiting not only for all things covid-19 to ease, but also for things to warm up again and get the barra on the bite - so it'll be some time October or possibly November As always this page is our primary source of information to all of our competitors and to our community. 17.01.2022 The supermarket crew would like to thank you all for your patience & understanding with the changes to shop hours etc as we deal with the covid 19 pandemic We have some changes to our hours from Monday 18th May We will be open... Monday - Friday 7am-6pm Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm We will still have a 10 customer limit, hand sanitiser on entry & take a trolley to shop It’s great to see how well Western Australia has dealt with covid 19. However we must continue with our hand washing & social distancing in order to keep each other safe & healthy. Be kind Stay safe

Once again we're absolutely stoked with the quality, so another huge shout-out to Bigfish Gear in Darwin for the best Australian made gear going around! Yes! We have small amount of kids sizes for the first time in 2020 As with the adult sizes, these will be distributed "first-in best-dressed" at the Information Night. Being a trial for us we apologise in advance if any little kids miss out on their size, but the quality is so good they'll grow into an adult's small size no worries
