23.01.2022 Don't forget, Wyndham Art Works life drawing session returns Thursday the 19th of April after the school holiday break . Our casual sessions are suitable for all skill levels. We have the basic materials to help you get started, but feel free to bring your own. We usually warm up with a few short poses, then work on one long pose for the rest of the night. Friendly students always willing to offer guidance.... 7.30 to 10pm Thursday nights (excluding school holidays) 2/88 Sayers Road, Laverton North (across the road form the white golf ball looking thing). $15 for non members and $10 for members Hope to see you there! 16.01.2022 This Saturday Wyndham Art Works has some more fabulous entertainment being provided by Pride of the Cook Islands with music and dancing for all to enjoy. Right after is a kid's disco . the fun starts at 3 pm so come on down and get your boogie on ! On Sunday at 12 there is a poi making class for kids of all ages followed by music and dance - starts 12 noon ( free event)

13.01.2022 Hello to all of our followers, members and supporters. This year , 2016, marks the 10th Anniversary of Wyndham Art Works. On behalf of the Committee , Wyndham Community Arts Alliance Inc, l would like to take this opportunity to thank those past and present contributors who have helped to shape this organisation to what it is today. We have had many people come and go over their years, and all of their efforts have left a mark but l would like to take a minute to thank a few ...people if l may. Behind but guiding us all is our tireless business manager and treasurer Wolf Heidecker who we hugely rely on to keep us on our path - Thank You Wolf for all that you do; without you we would not exist so it's hugely appreciated. The committee of management met last year to discuss where we wanted to take the next 10 years of the CAA and Wyndham Art Works, and we decided a revamp was in order - so l would like to introduce you to the newly renamed organisation which will now be known as simply, Wyndham Art Works. Not only is this our base camp, but now also US. As we all know, we are all volunteers at WAW, but WAW cannot continue to grow and evolve without the support of our members, our artists , our cultural groups, our community supporters, family and friends so PLEASE, get active , get planning and most of all, get involved to help shape YOUR Wyndham Art Works. Thank you to all the committee members past and present who all do so much, giving freely of their time, their enthusiasm and skills, it's also greatly appreciated by me and all who get involved in what WAW has to offer. 13.01.2022 little preview of some of the music we've had playing at Wyndham Art Works recently by the Pride of the Cook Islands and dance group Turi Marley who will be back to perform at our Art In August Closing day on September the 6th 10 am - 4 pm ; this is a free event and all are welcome to come and check our these amazing performers, have a bit to eat with us and soak up some art :-)

07.01.2022 Thank you to all of the wonderful people who came out and supported Wyndham Art Works on the weekend and took part in our 10th Anniversary celebrations. I'd like to say a big thank you to Len Manihera, Wai Paki and your crew for bringing the majestic WAKA out to us, Boe and his beautiful wife for cooking up a delicious storm for us, to Tama Tatu for their energising performance in the afternoon and to Lucia Mocnay for her help and inspiration in organising the inaugural Art in the Park session. Thank you all for all your efforts, cheers to another 10 years :-)
