10.01.2022 Community Notice Dear Community, We as the Victorian Cultural association inc better known as Wyndham Holi, would like to express our delight at the successful outcome of our recent event. We would like to thank each and every one of you who participated in our event and hope each and every one of you enjoyed it as much as we did host it.... Despite the success of the above event we are extremely saddened by the unfair and prejudicial personal attacks levelled at our committee member Ms Neha Kolape by a member of the community. Ms Kolape was subject to baseless and defamatory statements on social media which has caused her severe trauma and saddened us as a Committee. We would like to take this opportunity to condemn such baseless acts in its entirety and voice are strong repulsion towards such defamatory behaviour. Furthermore, it is our duty as members of the committee to publicly state that any baseless allegations or personally targeted posts about our members and/or organisation on social or other media outlets will not be tolerated. We will treat the matter with outmost seriousness and seek legal counsel against such defamatory action. We will stand in solidarity with our members and defend each one of them against such prejudicial attacks. Notwithstanding anything above, we the committee of Wyndham Holi are dedicated to providing all attendees with a superior experience. To this end we welcome all forms of genuine feedback, queries and complaints that you may have. We kindly request that you do so via the email, [email protected], so that we may be able to assist you. Additionally, we as a committee would like to set the record straight in the following respects All our accounts Taxes & GST are upto date with ATO and CAV statements are submitted. Our Government fundings are as per the rules and the evaluation reports have been completed and submitted to the authorities on time. It is a testament to our dedication that we were handed an Award of excellence in 2019 by the VMC. Lastly, we would like to draw the communitys attention to the following matter; A parking charge of $5.00 per car was instituted to partially compensate for the Traffic management, parking attendants and security guards in the Parking. Our decision to implement the above fee was done in consultation with the local council. In order to avoid misleading any attendee these charges were advertised in bold letters on our poster.
