24.01.2022 Hello and welcome back all of our Anytime Anywhere Learners for term 4. How exciting that school is going back next week, unfortunately the community centre won't be open just yet so AALC will have to stay online until further notice. But with the better weather coming we'd thought we would revisit our grass head and give him a make over, over the holidays. Grasshead also has a girlfriend now and thier grass hair is already growing lots. They live happily on the windowsill. Here are the supplies you'll need if you'd like to make your own. Have fun. We'll see you next week with a special video about the ducks and Swans in our local wetlands by the school here, so stay tuned. 20.01.2022 Much excitement yesterday as Joseph found this turtle while clearing weeds in our community garden! He has been named Bernie by Mr Palmer and will shortly be returned to the wetlands. We wondered why he was there? Maybe he was spooked by the recent thunderstorms or by recent construction work in the wetlands? We loved his visit

19.01.2022 Today we have had our first 2021 classes transition. This is one of four transition sessions where we are trialling different class mixes with different teachers ready to have the best combination for 2021. Today our students focussed on our 2021 Matrix which is an agreed set of expected behaviours for all inside, outside and moving around the school. Students reflect on this years Matrix and make any changes needed ready for 2021. It is important that our students have a say and use their voice and agency in the classroom.

18.01.2022 Transition Day 2 has been about making new friends, meeting new teachers, fun team - building games and writing our 2021 Matrix. Agreeing on our expected set of behaviours for 2021, being safe, responsible and respectful. Next week we have two more transition sessions.
