25.01.2022 Dinner from 5pm with Trivia starting at 7!! Good news we are now able to go back to the larger numbers in both areas of the club and no masks are now required in the club. Signing in as you enter is still a requirement so please do so when coming in. ... See you tonight!

18.01.2022 Three Wynnum teams made their way out to Warwick East Bowls Club for the annual November competition. This is the 4th year we have had teams attend and it looks like there will be a 5th! The hospitality was amazing thank you for the great weekend.

18.01.2022 Thanks for all of your support for the John Denver and Linda Ronstadt tribute show. Everyone’s cooperation to help us adhere to the current restrictions in place made both shows a huge success.

12.01.2022 We are hosting the Division 1 and 2 Semi Finals today with lunch being served from 11am. Come down and watch some great bowls over a cold drink and some lunch! Bowls begin from 1pm

09.01.2022 Some good news for all club's across QLD with the easing of some restrictions. What does this mean for us? We can now have up to 36 people in our gaming / tab area (increased from 18) and 146 in the main hall (increased from 73). We have some functions coming up that this will greatly assist with (private and club run functions). I know this will also make some of our regular's happy as well, especially in our gaming area. ... Our staff have been doing a great job of making sure we adhere to our COVID responsibilities and they will continue to do so under these changes, this will just make it that little bit easier. Thank you for the continued support we have received during these times.

08.01.2022 A great time was had by some of our travelling bowlers over the weekend! Everyone was well behaved I have been informed ! Looking forward to welcoming Chinchilla Bowls Club in the near future to Wynnum !

07.01.2022 Good morning, For anyone visiting the club this weekend please note that while you are still able to order drinks from the bar you must be seated to consume them. This is a change as of Friday the 24th of July. Thank you for helping us stay compliant.

06.01.2022 Just a reminder the John Denver & Linda Ronstadt tribute show is on this evening and is sold out due to our COVID restrictions. We ask everyone please be understanding with the regulations that we currently have to adhere too. Tickets are still available for tomorrow afternoons show. Thank you.

05.01.2022 Breaky Bowls is on Sunday with breakfast starting at 8am and bowls starting from 9:30am. Big Breaky available for $12 and a breakfast muffin for $6 - Tea coffee or juice with all meals. Get in touch with the club to register your names.

04.01.2022 Lunch from 11am today! Come down for a meal and a cold drink. One team at home today which is div 2 playing Belmont starting at 1pm. Edit - all games canceled but still come down and get out of the rain !

04.01.2022 ***Bowls Update*** All Pennants games for today have been called off due to bad weather.

03.01.2022 Great News - We have able to confirm a new date for the tribute show - not only have we been able to lock in a new date but with COVID restrictions and the demand for tickets we can announce there will be a second show the following day. The first show is planned to go on Saturday the 5th of September with doors opening from 6:30pm with the show starting at 7:30pm. Meals available from 5pm The second show is booked in for the following day - Sunday the 6th of September (fathe...rs day). Show starts at 2pm. Light lunch available from 11:30am. If you have purchased tickets prior to COVID could you please contact the club on 07 3396 1829 to confirm if you would like to attend the Saturday show or the Sunday show. This is required as we need to make sure we adhere to COVID restrictions. Tickets are still available so please contact the club to book. As always the club plans to put in measures to adhere to the COVID guidelines we operate under.
