18.01.2022 Update: I have found someone to take care of Sox so thank you so much to everyone for your generosity and kindness. Enjoy the rest of your week Looking for a dog sitter for Sox I’ve left it too late this year to book into my normal amazing greyhound sitter I’m going away from the 26th December and returning on the 30th December. Could anyone in our greyhound community be able recommend someone who could take care of Sox for that period of time. Sox is 10 years old and during summer needs a home with air conditioning, she feels the heat. She’s a gentle sole and loves company.

12.01.2022 Any ideas what this might be? It's on Rosie's back. I took her coat off and patted her fur and a clump of fur came off and this is the result. It can't be a graze cos she always has her jacket on. I'm thinking fungal something? There is no secretion. Looks dry.

11.01.2022 Hello friends, some of you may already know that our beautiful blue girl Annie was diagnosed with osteocarsoma last month and we had to make the excruciating decision to say goodbye to her Wednesday afternoon. I had been planning to arrange a walk now the restrictions have eased in the next few weeks, however I think my heart needs a bit longer to heal. 01.01.2022 ANZAC DAY SERVICES FOR MANLY 4.15am: The Manly Lota RSL Dawn Service will be held at Richard Russell Memorial Park, Manly. **A Gunfire Breakfast will be ...held at the Manly Lota RSL Sub-Branch Hall after the dawn service. This will be for members, veterans, their families, and invited guests only this year due to COVID restrictions. 8am: Anzac Day Parade commences on Ernest Street near the Manly State School, followed by a community service at the Richard Russell Memorial Park, Manly. **A light morning/lunch will be available at the Manly-Lota RSL Sub-Branch Hall after the mid-morning service. This will be for members, veterans, their families, and invited guests only this year due to COVID restrictions. Members of the community are encouraged to lay a wreath or poppy at the service. Poppies will be provided by the Manly-Lota RSL, and donations are appreciated. RSL Australia will again be holding the Light up the Dawn service for those who wish to commemorate the day from their driveways or balconies.
