23.01.2022 After a successful first season, the South East Queensland Challenge is back! For this season, we will be playing a Div 2 event, capped at 1600 points (ratings central). Play will commence on Wednesday October 7th and will continue for 6 weeks. Novelty for this season: the club will be providing umpires at all tables! 21.01.2022 **Message from WTTA President** Following the recent announcement from the Queensland Government that from 6pm today, Friday 8/1/21 to 6pm Monday 11/1/21, residents in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and Redlands council areas will enter a three day lockdown. What this means for us is that the hall will not be open during this period. This includes our very popular Sunday afternoon session and the scheduled training camp which was due to commence on Monday.... Hopefully, things will be back to normal after this, however we will keep you updated of any further developments.

Matches from 5pm. 3 teams of 4 players will compete in singles and doubles events. 06.01.2022 It has been a very busy school holidays at the club: - Our junior beginners training camp had 8 participants in average throughout the 5 sessions. - The Junior team finalized its preparation for the Queensland Junior Championships throughout an intense training camp. - Test matches on the final day of the training camp, featuring an 8-1 win against Brisbane Table Tennis in a contest that was much closer than what the score suggests. Many thanks to Paul, Adrian, Matt & Lee for... umpiring throughout the day and to Daniel and Matilda for going around taking photos and videos. It is now time to leave it all out there during the tournament and bring home as many medals as possible. Go Wynnum! See more
