21.01.2022 Wynnum Vikings are currently accepting applications for the positions of Senior Coach, Reserves Coach and Colts Coach. Located on Brisbanes bayside and currently affiliated in QFA Division 2 North, on the back of being highly competitive, we are looking for the correct senior coach to help guide our club to the next phase. All coaching positions are currently vacant, and we expect our senior coach to have completed, or in the process of completing their Level 2 certification.... The senior coach will be able to effectively implement and communicate their game plan while also encouraging the development of the clubs junior and youth pathway. Ideally, applicants would display the following: Excellent communication skills Ability to cooperatively work with the senior coaching department Display strong interpersonal communication skills with players Align with the Wynnum Vikings Football Clubs mission statement, vision and club values Enthusiasm to teach and develop young players Demonstrate ability to engage positively with all areas of the football club e.g. members, sponsors etc. All applicants are expected to have previously coached or played in recent seasons and to work in conjunction with the senior coach. All positions will report to the executive committee. 15.01.2022 The uniform shop will be open this Saturday from l:00 ~ 2:30pm. Starting next week, the uniform shop will be open weekly from 6:00 ~ 7:00pm.

15.01.2022 Wynnum Vikings are pleased to announce our Senior Coach for season 2021 Shaunn Stewart. Shaunn brings a wealth of football knowledge along with the ability to help people achieve the best out of their football. We will be holding our meet the coach/player information night on Tuesday 24th November from 6:30pm. We invite all senior, reserves and under 18 players to come along and meet the coach and hear about the plans for the 2021 season.

07.01.2022 The Wynnum Vikings would like to congratulate Zane Wakely on reaching a major milestone for the club this afternoon against Moorooka. Zane steps out on the ground in the #23 guernsey for his 100th senior game for the Vikings in front of a home crowd. Zane has been a pivotal part of the Vikings family since 2015, winning the clubs senior best and fairest in his first year. He has since gone on to win a second senior club best and fairest in 2018, where he was also awarded ove...rall club champion. Captaining the senior side in 2018 and 2019, he was the driving force behind the start of some success for the club, leading both the seniors and reserves to the grand final in 2019. Zane’s endless loyalty, effort and leadership, both on and off the field, is something we value highly at the Wynnum Vikings. Thanks for everything you have done for the club and we wish you the best of luck today, Zane Wakely, 100 game player for the Wynnum Vikings!

04.01.2022 Wynnum Vikings coach David Sloan has now completed his 3 year contract with the club. We would like to thank David for giving up his valuable time and passing on his vast knowledge of the game to our playing list. During his time with our club, David took our current playing group to levels previously unknown, and although falling short of the ultimate glory, David and his coaching staff have left a lasting impression on our playing group. Thank you to David and his family for your contribution to our club. Wynnum Vikings will be advertising all football department roles in the coming days.
