16.01.2022 Tonight marks the end of an era - the last meeting for Wyongah Girl Guides. In the last 3 years we have seen very little increase in numbers, largely because nobody really knows where Wyongah is, and also because we have Units both north and south of us, which although girls may be within kilometres of the hall, have travelled as they didn't know we existed. We have therefore decided to relinquish the hall to the Council. We will be having an official farewell for current and... ex members once the paperwork trail has been completed. As of 2020, the current girls and Leaders will be moving over to form the new District of Hamlyn Terrace Girl Guides. Since advertising our new District we have picked up 5 new members at Wyongah - they didn't want to wait for the move - as well as at least 2, possible 3 ladies who are interested in Leadership. A sad farewell to Wyongah, but a positive future to Hamlyn Terrace. #achangeiscoming #GirlGuidesGoPlaces #AwesomeLeaders
