25.01.2022 HELP! We have a drainage problem at the hall which is badly affecting the tennis court surface. Do you know a plumber/drainer who can give us a quote to fix it? We think we need a new surface water drain along the front boundary of the tennis court. Any suggestions for locals who can help welcomed, or if you are a plumber/drainer please send us a pm

24.01.2022 Wyongah Progress Association will be celebrating the contribution that our dear friend Carmen Inness made to our community on Saturday 5th June with a tree planting and plaque placement in the grounds of the hall. If you knew Carmen and would like to attend please join us at 10.30 for the planting and a small morning tea afterwards. Carmen’s daughter and son will be joining us as well. RSVP would be appreciated for catering purposes. Looking forward to seeing you all.

All court hirers will need to contact the phone number on the website to gain access to the court until the key is available. Thank you.

22.01.2022 Beautiful sunshine and beautiful memories of Wyongah Progress Association champion Carmen Innes today at the hall Carmen's many years of dedication and determination on behalf of the local community will be remembered through a grevillea planted by her daughter and son Kerrie and Marshall and a plaque commemorating her huge contribution. We look forward to seeing the tree's gorgeous golden flowers as it grows. Our community hall is looking great and is being regularly used by so many different local groups, and we like to think she would be pleased

14.01.2022 Lost your keys? Some keys were found this morning in the middle of the road of Murrawal and Myrna Rds. Let us know if they are yours and we’ll put in contact with the lady that found them.

13.01.2022 Carmen Inness our founding member of the progress association has passed away. She will be remembered as a life long member who was instrumental in keeping our progress association going since it’s inception. Carmen wrote a book called "The Road to Wyongah", with all the local history of our area. Carmen was always lobbying the local council to have our roads repaired and have new bus stops erected, she genuinely cared about our community. There are many more stories to tel...l and we will do so in the new year by holding a memorial service, a celebration of Carmen's life and community spirit, at our Progress Hall. (Details TBA) Carmen died peacefully in her sleep yesterday, 23/12/20 age 92. Vale Carmen Inness, you will be sorely missed by all who knew you.

01.01.2022 What a beautiful morning for a working bee at the Wyongah Progress Hall www.wyongahpa.com.au to add some more soft fill to the backyard playground and rescue a tree that was being ringbarked by its protective tyre! Now come and play tennis at our great tennis court, bring the kids to have a play, and hire the hall and the tennis court for your next birthday party or family get-together!
