24.01.2022 Comp night 3 A whopping 227 new Personal bests and 10 centre records great work Kids and Seniors! Another buzy night and nice to see groups getting used to the system and starting to finish there program a little quicker. We are the biggest club on the coast and getting thru 5/6 events per group in under 2 Hours is a credit to our awesome Age Managers. Well done. ... The final placings will be announced on Thursday, before comp, with a small presentation planned to align with covid regulations. ... 4 New Centre Records Liam set a new 17 boys 100m record. 15.13 sec Keira set a new 12 girls Shotput Record 12.14m Daryl bettered his 60+ 100m and 60m Records. 14.70 & 9.02 sec Thanks to all the age managers/ committee for there hard work and speedy time getting thru all the events. 19.01.2022 Hi Team, sorry we had to cancel last night the ground was just way to unsafe for any form of comp. Let's hope it drys out for next week. Just an update on registration numbers, as it stands we are currently the largest club on the coast this season 236 Little Athletics members... 18 NSW Athletics members (seniors) With these numbers we need to continue to abide by the clubs covid rules and follow the instructions of our covid marshalls each week. Being the coasts family club I am sure we will all do the right thing and be "covidsafe" Thank you everyone for joining the WhatsApp group, it makes sending urgent and important information to our members a lot easier! In years gone by we used email, but, to many complaints about information not being received. We hope this format of communication will solve the problem There is a planned Little athletics carnival for early January at Mingara.
