21.01.2022 The festive season is just around the corner although sadly it's not so festive or fun for everyone. So this year Wyong Family Practice have started a "WISH TREE" and with your help we would like to bring a little bit of joy back. All gifts donated this year are going to our local FACS office where they will be distributed to the children currently in care and families doing it tough. If you could spare a little something for someone please drop it in to our tree wrapped with a tag attached stating Girl or Boy and age intended for. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your kindness and from our families to yours wishing a bright and merry christmas to all....

16.01.2022 November is Movember Movember is dedicated to men's health. In particular, mental health and suicide prevention, together with prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 6 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. We can all take action for men to live healthier, happier and longer lives.... During November, we are reminding men to talk to their GP about their health, including mental health. Encourage the men in your life to talk. Movember is a great time to start that conversation. #movember2020

15.01.2022 If you find a breast change that is unusual for you, see your GP without delay and ask for a referral to Sydney Breast Clinic for same day results.

12.01.2022 Across the world, 3 out of 4 suicides are men. Asking, listening and being there for your friends can be lifesaving. If you need a hand having a conversation with someone who's going through a tough time, use the ALEC guide. A.SK - Ask the question... L.ISTEN - Listen, without judgement or distractions E.NCOURAGE - Encourage action C.HECK - Check in Have open conversations with the men in your life. Encourage them to talk to their GP. If we all dig a little deeper, we can help prevent more men from reaching a crisis point. #movember2020 #RUOK?
