21.01.2022 Hi all, Thankyou for your support and understanding for me having a family holiday with David, Cathy and Andrew to see family and some amazing places in this great country of ours. Dave and I have returned to Darwin and I have already had some clients touch base with me for a massage and some have received a lymphatic drainage that I'm recently trained and qualified in.... I am currently back in Brisbane for the weekend and taking appointments for when I return next week. 12.01.2022 Massage during pregnancy differs from a regular massage in a couple of ways. The biggest way it differs is that the person receiving the massage is pregnant, and therefore knowledge of pregnancy and the anatomy of a pregnant woman are very important. This means that positioning during a massage is critical to the safety and well-being of both the mother and the baby she is carrying. I use a combination of Swedish and Remedial Massage techniques, to assist with the tensions a...nd pains experienced during pregnancy. These are often caused by the extra weight and shift in the centre of gravity. There are many physical benefits to Pregnancy Massage, in addition to the nurturing and emotional support the massage reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, helps to prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain.
