25.01.2022 1974 Ford XB Falcon Coupe, a MUST BID for any Aussie Car Lover: https://goo.gl/X5ipk5 The car was included in the Bowden Family Collection for over a decade. It... then went to its present custodian. Previous to its time with the Bowden family it spent about the same amount of time with its previous owner. During that time it is known to have always been in Murray Carter/Brian Wood livery and the way the car presents strongly supports this. Similar road going cars in livery have been used by many teams both for promotional support and as a complete spare car in the case of a mishap. Very handy. This car was driven and inspected by Mr Carter who was an invited guest at the 2011 Muscle Car Masters & features on their DVD. It has all the GT options, close ratio Toploader (reconditioned) 4V 351 420HP (Done 1,500 ks) 16:1 steering box, new shock and springs, extra heavy 3 core radiator, original XB racing seats & harness, reinforced 1" sway bar, Bathurst tank, 9" disc with tramp rods. Earlier it was known as a Murray Carter spare vehicle, however, its pedigree was hard to substantiate so it is being advertised as a replica. It was an early homologation around the late 70's. This car is presented for sale unchanged by its known previous owners and is a most accurate example of the Golden era of Australian Motorsport.

25.01.2022 Doing choke holes for xb Gt frames. They take ages to do but you have to refine your skills to do them correctly. Just finished one. If you zoom right in you can barely see it.

20.01.2022 Just did my GT in autoglym super resin polish. Never used it before. My panel beater recommended it. Came out pretty nice without much effort, best one Ive ever used. $50 though.

18.01.2022 Consol xb saddle (codeK) The chrome strip surround I make here. They are chromed mild steel and sell for $120 plus postage.

18.01.2022 As you can see all the different colours its been painted over the years. I chemically dip these consoles to remove all the old paint and grim thats built up over 40 plus years, taking it back to raw plastic. This always gives the best look as the grain is pronounced and isnt smothered in old paint. The next step is plastic welding then painting. Ill post those later on down the track. Cheers.

14.01.2022 The mirrored stainless steel console surround is no more. It got canned as the cost of buying the sheets just got way to expensive. So now I am manufacturing chromed steel which looks fantastic. ... The mirror stainless was only mirrored on top where this style is totally chromed and looks more effective and authentic. Cost hasnt changed its still $90 plus postage of $10. I know they are reproducing plastic chrome with pins which looks great and would be as close to concourse you could get but the price is a bit more then mine at $220 and I assume plus postage. I can go that way if you wish but starts to add up where mine looks the same at half the price. Anyway Im putting it out there as an alternative. Cheers.

12.01.2022 This is a snapshot of some of my work. I have refurbished over the last 8years. I have done hundred of dashes, Consoles, steering columns, wiring harness, wiper motors, glove boxes, heaters boxes and what seems like a thousand switches. This is my job, this is all I do. 12.01.2022 Finally got the motor in the customers XB GT up and running. I have done all the work except panel work where the customer had it done several years ago. As most of you are aware I just dont do dashes and Switches. I rebuild muscle cars for myself and customers. This particular one has been awhile as Ive been flat chat doing dashes, consoles, wiring harnesses and so on. Now this is hopefully going this week and Ill bring in my XC T code to finish. Its air/ steer 4spd. Ill put some photos up later. Cheers.

12.01.2022 Reproduction 7or 8,000 Tacho Reproduction 140mph or 240kph Speedo $350 Reproduction Oil/volts-Fuel/Temp for Xa only $375... Large clusters are made from 6,000 tachos and standard 120mph or 200kph speedo. You must supply the tacho and speedo. There are no reproduction XB small clusters.

11.01.2022 XB GT dash cracks are the hardest to repair as you need to match the pattern perfectly so it doesnt stand. Attached are photos of the cracks that have been repaired in stages.

11.01.2022 Im now selling circuit boards for XA/XB. These are brand new and including postage are $180 Also instead of repairing the old circuit boards I will be supplying these (if needed at additional cost) with all calibration of large clusters.

10.01.2022 Got a bit of silver around the bottom of it yesterday and rear tray getting done today and bonnet next week.

08.01.2022 Got the Ute back. 351 mild engine (Done 500ks) with new Toploader and shifter. Need to put the new disc brake 3.25 diff 9in and new Tailshaft. It was a factory Army car. This one was a 200ci, 3 on the tree khaki in colour, with v8 rad support with extra welds through its structure. So a very strong vehicle that suited me fine to convert to a Mock GT ute Its Apollo blue with silver outs and white interior. Everything has been refurbished with genuine NOS tie rod ends, drag ...link, steering arm and pitman. King springs with Monroe gas. Power steering has been added and a remote rh mirror. The interior will be white XB GT standard which includes a 7,000/240k tacho/speedo,new upholstery on seats and door panels, black refurbished crash pad and glovebox, original black console, refurbished xb gt steering wheel and steering column, new clutch, brakes, cylinders etc. everything will be fully refurbished inside and out Not to sure when I can finish it as I have a lot of customers work to do so it mightnt be this year. I will be selling this vehicle when finished or if people would like to have a project with all parts guaranteed to be there. The body and paint alone cost $22,000. The people who painted this also painted my HO which was absolutely perfect. so people who no cars understand how much money goes into these vehicles to get them spot on. So if youre interested in it either as a project that can be put together in a week or would like to put a deposit down and I put it together, either way is acceptable. Cheers

06.01.2022 Not many people are aware of the tubes inside the steering columns of xw xy Xa have an indicator to see if the car has been in a major accident. As you can se...e in the attached photos one is longer then the other. Not only that, the plastic tabs that are present in the longer (right hand one)cant be seen in the shorter one. This inner tube is buggared as is the column, do not use it. Another thing, The rods that attach to your steering box and steering wheel are meant to slide, if they dont slide (rusted together) and you have a major hit in the front, the steering wheel will be embedded into your chest as it wont collapse. Thats why when you do up a steering column you need to strip it back to bare bones and check everything from wear and tear and see if the tube has collapsed inside of the column. Be carful when you pull the rods out that the anti vibration tabs remain on the shaft. If they arent on your column, your car will start vibrating at highway speed. See more

03.01.2022 Had the guards, doors and bonnet done last week and now the rest done. The silver outs will be done Thursday. Seen a couple of cars getting painted this colour lately Darren beard XB GT hardtop and Lincoln Tuckers Xb Ute, they both look absolutely brilliant. Send a few more when silver outs are done.

03.01.2022 Glovebox and frame restoration. Vinyl is pulled off Foam stripped Dipped in chemical to remove all paint... Then washed Placed in other chemical to remove rust. Washed, dried painted with epoxy etch primer. Then Painted in appropriate colour for customer and upholstered. See more

01.01.2022 Another heater box. This one is acid dipped, etch primed and backing plate painted argent silver inside and out. The housing is painted black as there wasnt a date code present. The previous one was cad plated. They all have NEW Atrad heater radiators, refurbished motors. All metal is either cad or rust treated and painted. They are exchange only $650 0428509041 Cheers Nathan
