15.01.2022 And that’s a wrap! With voting now closed, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the community for considering me to be their next representative for Chandler Ward. Council isn’t always at the front of everyone’s mind, but it can have a significant impact on our day to day lives. I appreciate the members of the community who reached out to ask questions, discuss ideas or offer their support. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank my family, friends, volunt...eers and supporters for the assistance they have provided throughout the campaign. Campaigns are never individual efforts, and even the smallest act of support can have a big impact. Finally, thank you to my beautiful wife Natalie and darling daughter Gracie for their love throughout my campaign (and to our dog Evie for posing for all the photos). Elections are always difficult on families, and I couldn’t have done it without you. I love you both very much. Whatever the result in the coming weeks, I look forward to serving our wonderful community in some shape or form in the future.

Your vote needs to be in the post box before it is collected today, and some post boxes are collected at 12pm or 4pm, so check before posting. You can find your nearest post box here: https://auspost.com.au/locate/... Alternatively, you can also hand deliver your vote in person to the Knox Election Office at 4/1849 Ferntree Gully Road, Ferntree Gully, which is open until 6pm today. Avoid the $83 fine, and make your voice heard!
06.01.2022 Many residents have contacted me to raise concerns about development in their neighbourhood. Whilst candidates and councillors cannot take sides in planning matters, if elected, it will be my responsibility to ensure you have your say on planning. ... If there is a development in your neighbourhood that impacts you and your family, you need to lodge your objection with Knox City Council. Council will consider your opinion, as will VCAT if the application goes there.
