15.01.2022 One of Tinas creations .. My lil Mojo ...
15.01.2022 Holden 179 thats had the full treatment. Reconditioned back to the way the General intended, going into an EH restoration project. The customer insisted on it having all the factory external goodies overhauled rather than replaced with after market units, such as the petrol pump, oil pump & distributor. Internally, everything else was stripped down to bare metal, cleaned , repaired/checked and rebuilt or replaced.

So its off to be painted by the customers painter , then it will be back to be finished off & run on the engine run stand to ensure everything is perfect before the customer receives it...

10.01.2022 Good luck & safe travels to our valued customer & friend , Charlie Attard and his crew who are competing in this years Street Machine Drag Challenge.. We are looking forward to updating you all on team Y NOT and their adventures. Charlie is competing in the XR6 Turbo Developments Six-cylinder category. It is strongly contested by many late model turbocharged, electronic fuel injected cars , so if you think Charlie is out to break records, he isnt.. Like most others competing, he is out to give it a go and have some fun with good mates & probably make some new ones along the way So , Y NOT ?

02.01.2022 What if you have a matching numbers engine/vin and the block is passed its used by date? Corrosion, cracks or oversize bores? We can (almost always)fix this problem for you. This 202 block had bad porosity holes from years of running no coolant and the customer wanted to retain his own block, so we fixed it. It is now back to standard bore size.
02.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope everyone is safe and well during these uncertain times... We should have been at Sydney Dragway today, competing at the 2200DRA 1/8 mile event, but due to the world being on hold, it wasnt to be. Stay tuned over the weekend for a start up video... Just because ... Stay safe...
02.01.2022 Bit of port work on an Holden red 6, open chamber, 9 port cylinder head .... and yes, 153624, I get it
01.01.2022 New 1/8th mile P.B. for the little Torana... 7.065 @ 97.84mph
01.01.2022 On occasion, you get an enquiry asking if you can have a quick look at a car and check the tune etc.. As soon as I heard this car, something didnt sound quite right. No prominent misfire, just an erratic idle and not a happy runner. So after having a look over it, I established it had a dead cylinder. Here is what was found.... Number 6 exhaust valve was a little bent !... And all the rocker gear had been bottoming out on the pedestals with approximately.040 valve lift to go After servicing the cylinder heads & rectifying the rocker issue, we fired up this 355 Holden and gave it a quick tune so the customer can enjoy cruising around again as intended. Thank you Kevin for trusting me with your beautiful VL. See more
01.01.2022 Looking forward to seeing Joe out at the track enjoying himself.. the smile on his face driving it up the driveway to load onto the trailer was priceless, so I can’t wait to see his reaction out at the track Thank you Joe & Karen for being great customers & supporters of Xerri Engines & Mechanical Services ..
