24.01.2022 Light wind again Recut zero Neil Tasker from Barracouta Sails did a great job re cutting this upwind zero from my old boat

23.01.2022 First summer series race on Saturday..... very light again but the boat is going great ..... We added another tack line on the prodder (Three now) so we now can have our upwind zero and our no 2 zero in the air together + we can fly the kite.... This is mainly for us to change gears quickly on short courses.... Thanks to the crew who were faultless ....

17.01.2022 Such a great day out, albeit a little light and some pre race testing / checking ....So before I hear it again, yes the upwind zero is short. It’s from my last boat but works better 1 meter up so we will add some cloth on the bottom for aesthetics so the armchair admirals stop commenting......

16.01.2022 Update Two light races in and the rig has needed considerable re tensioning. Jib will get chaff patches and a leech mod to help it wth mast rotation Zero is getting a small mod All sheets are getting cut and ends whipped We got Allyacht spars to put in a second fractional spare halyard when we ordered the rig to support the prodder offshore and now we realise we use it all the time and we need to now make it 2:1 .. this allows us to leave up both zeros on short courses and ch...ange gears quickly and back stays will go on to support the masthead kite Of course this also means we need another 2:1 tack line Halyards are also getting chaff guards at the jammers It never ends but other than that we are incredibly impressed with how it’s behaving and NO breakages at this time See more

11.01.2022 Racing was abandoned 10 minutes before the gun today so took the opportunity to work some systems out The boat was very well balance with 2 reefs..

10.01.2022 Top gun... the other Crowther offshore cat in Sydney looking the goods on Pittwater... It’s longer (50) and wider (30) than XL2 and is beautifully maintained
