20.01.2022 Little bit of before and after maintenance and repair on a rental in FNQ. Rotten rafter tips cut back and new treated pine fascia added to both sides of the pergola then covered with 90%+ shade cloth. A new supported beam run from the home to the pergola so the electrical wiring could be legally and safely run to power the pool filter and pergola light. Dark timber panelled wall painted to lighten up the living space and another bedroom wall repaired and painted. Great outcome and ready to lease.

13.01.2022 Cloncurry cattle station. Besides fencing repairs the stockyards needed some sprinklers to keep the dust down and the owner had been planning a rebuild of the stock draughting area to make it more efficient. Not chippy work but building knowledge was definitely a required skill. On the job training included loader driving, king hitter operation etc. Looking forward to the cattle draughting video.

12.01.2022 Once again FNQ, repairing, rebuilding and rejuvenating some balustrade. Mid rails replaced, some panels totally rebuilt while others have had rotten sections removed and new timber inserted to make good. Decorative spacer blocks and bottom support blocks have been replaced. Also a couple of posts have been strengthened and plumbed. The client arranged new support brackets and has completed all the cleaning and painting. All new timber was painted all round before reinstating.
