Theyd used the wrong spokes, wrong lacing pattern, wrong nipples, and far too little tension. The latter resulted in shock loading of the driveside leading spokes, and early fatigue/failure. An #XLR8wheels rebuild to Shimano specified tension, with double butted spokes, and nipple washers will see these wheels bac...k to dependable (and fast!) on his #sevencycles Evergreen.
