In the spirit of think global act local - Joe Biden will have taken over in the USA and has a major focus on addressing climate change. Plenty... of other countries are stepping up their own efforts to stimulate growth after covid. Every state jurisdiction in Australia is making serious plans for renewable energy (shame about the federal govt.). Business in Australia is also heading in the right direction. Monash Council last year made it official policy to be carbon neutral for their corporate emissions by 2025 and to step up actions in the community. They have drawn up an Action Plan and Trish McGee will be talking about that on the 5th Feb. This event is organised by the Monash Emergency Climate Action Network and is a public COVID safe meeting.
