Just as they sound, you're literally jumping a bench or chair. Bench jumps are perfect to tone legs and lower body muscles, while the increased heart rate will help burn fat while you're at it.... Requiring quick and powerful movements, Bench Jumps are also effective for your core abdominal and back muscles along with strengthening the leg power. To start, place hands on a bench or chair, and feet together on one side of the bench/chair. Next, bend knees and jump over the bench to the other side then quickly jump back to the starting side. Bench Jumps are to be performed quickly and smoothly (thus the increased heart rate), and it's important not to pause between jumps. Try to perform 20-40 bench jumps to elevate your heart rate. And people who work on computers are in that hunched-over position for seven or eight hours a day. The high pull is a good way to stretch out the pectoral muscles and strengthen the upper-back muscles to improve posture. this can be a beginning, intermediate, or advanced move.... Step 1: Start with your feet flat on the floor, shoulder width apart. Lean back so your arms are straight under the bar in-line of your collar bone. Step 2: Keeping your elbows and upper arms parallel to the floor and your wrists in a neutral position, as if you were rowing, pull yourself to a standing position. This should take you about one second. Be sure your core is contracted, your shoulder blades are squeezed together as well as your glutes squeeze really hard, and your shoulders aren’t shrugging toward your ears. Exhale as you pull. Step 3: Take two seconds to slowly lower yourself back to your start position. Keep your torso, chest, and chin in a straight line and inhale as you go. Aim for three to four sets of 12 reps. #fitness #health #sports

08.01.2022 CHIN UPS http://www.xtprofitness.com 1. Grab the pull-up bar with the palms facing your torso and a grip closer than the shoulder width.... 2. As you have both arms extended in front of you holding the bar at the chosen grip width, keep your torso as straight as possible while creating a curvature on your lower back and sticking your chest out. This is your starting position. Tip: Keeping the torso as straight as possible maximizes biceps stimulation while minimizing back involvement. 3. As you breathe out, pull your torso up until your head is around the level of the pull-up bar. Concentrate on using the biceps muscles in order to perform the movement. Keep the elbows close to your body. Tip: The upper torso should remain stationary as it moves through space and only the arms should move. The forearms should do no other work other than hold the bar. 4. After a second of squeezing the biceps in the contracted position, slowly lower your torso back to the starting position; when your arms are fully extended. Breathe in as you perform this portion of the movement. 5. Repeat this motion for the prescribed amount of repetitions. Variations: If you are new at this exercise and do not have the strength to perform it, use a pull-up assist machine if available. These machines use weight to help you push your bodyweight.Otherwise, a spotter holding your legs can help.On the other hand, more advanced lifters can add weight to the exercise by using a weight belt that allows the addition of weighted plates. #fitness #sports #chinup
