25.01.2022 >>> Use your laundry bag for clean small toys <<< If you have lots of second-hand LEGO to clean, you may consider using a dishwasher or washing machine. Place you LEGO in a mesh-bag used for laundry delicates, and use the gentlest setting (otherwise you can seriously damage parts). If you are using a dishwasher, only use the top rack! Make sure the water is not too hot!

17.01.2022 >>> Removing red wine from carpet <<< After blotting, pour a few drops of cold water directly onto the wine stain. Doing this helps dilute what remains of the stain, making blotting a bit easier. Continue blotting until you find that no more of the stain will come out. Prepare a baking soda paste by mixing a three to one ratio of water to baking soda and applying it to the affected area. Once the paste is dry, vacuum the stain.

17.01.2022 To mask unpleasant odors, put some coffee beans in a saucepan and burn them. The smell of coffee will overpower the other nasty odors.

Shake clothing free of flour and then hand wash, or use a gentle machine cycle, using soap suitable for delicates.

Just keep an eye on the machine while its washing as you may find it suds up a lot inside due to build-up of soap residue. The more often you clean your machine, the less often this will occur over time.

Use a damp cloth with a little washing up liquid to clean any stains on the outside and wipe away dust residue. ... If the fabric softener dispenser is grotty, remove and either run it through your dishwasher (in the top basket) or wash in the sink with hot soapy water. Replacing fabric softener with vinegar is not only cheaper, its better for your machine too!
