19.01.2022 Good Afternoon Folks COVID-19 Update We in WA have been declared a State of Emergency and as such it is now against the Law to have a mass gathering. ... Well whilst we wish our hockey school was that big unfortunately we are not yet! We are lucky enough that we operate out of a building with more than enough space to ensure that we do not break the law and as such all of our training sessions are able to continue. If you would like to have a look at what constitutes a mass gathering it can be found here https://www.wa.gov.au//200320%20Mass%20Gatherings%20Direct What we will be implementing though is the following; 1. No more than 7 people per change room. 2. If you need help with skates you come outside the change room and have them done up on the bench. 3. No sharing of water bottles (you shouldn't be doing this anyway) 4. No spitting in the venue (you shouldn't be doing this anyway either as it is grose) We ask that in addition to you practising good hygiene by washing your hands regularly, that if you are sick (with any illness) to please stay home and if you have been overseas to follow the law and self isolate. Don't forget you can still practice stick handling at home with a golf or tennis ball!! We currently have the following on ice training sessions available; Monday 7.15pm - 8.00pm Under 17 Monday 8.00pm - 8.45pm Senior Skills Tuesday 6.00pm - 6.45pm 3 on 3 & Cross Ice Thursday 4.00pm - 5.30pm Hockey Skating School (4pm beginners, 4.30pm intermediate, 5.00pm advanced) Thursday 5.45pm - 6.30pm Under 8 & Under 11 Thursday 6.30pm - 7.15pm Under 14's Sunday 8.30am - 9.30am Learn to Play open age If you want any further information on any of the programs that we are running please do not hesitate to contact us. #wewillgetthroughthis #icehockey #icehockeywa #icehockeyaus #loveofthegame #trainingisstillago
