18.01.2022 **RIVER OPEN** To all our valued customers we would like to welcome you to 2021. We are open today from 8am-12pm and back to our normal operating hours from Mon-Fri 8am-5pm @ 24 Sturt St,Echuca. An update for our Victorian friends: The good news is that at this stage, the Murray River is open for you to swim/fish/boat/ski in, you just cannot set foot on the NSW bank of the river.

12.01.2022 River is open to Border Region Residents ! Call us today now to ensure you and your boat are ready ! Below is an email direct from Transport NSW... Dear maritime partner, Today the NSW Government changed the Border Control Public Health Order to allow border region residents to travel in the region without requiring a permitted purpose. A link to the amended order is here. This means that Victorian Border Region Residents can use the Murray River for any purpose, including use of vessels, provided they have not been to an area listed in the Victorian Area Direction (https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/victorias-restriction-levels-co) in the past 14 days. It is important to note that Victorian residents are still not permitted to travel into NSW beyond the border region (as shown in the map attached to this email). While the Order does not create an obligation on Maritime operators to check customer’s permits, it is an important part of your COVID-Safe Plan to remind customers that they are not permitted on the Murray River without a Border Region Resident permit, if they are not a NSW resident. Further information for Commercial vessels required to have completed a COVID-Safety Plan can be found at https://www.nsw.gov.au//covid-19-safety-plan-commercial-ve.
