22.01.2022 Something we work with every week is one of the most important nerves in the human body the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve comes away from the central nervous system in the lower back at L4. It goes down through the back of your buttocks, the back of each leg down to the knee. At the knee it separates and goes down the inside and outside of your leg - down to the big toe and down to the little toe. It is the longest nerve in the human body which is connected strongly to the immune and digestive systems. This week we are focusing more on sciatic. 16.01.2022 WHAT ARE CHAKRAS AND WHY DO WE WORK WITH THEM? Chakra is a swirl of energy in the esoteric (or psychic body). Energy is what moves our material physical bodies. When that energy is stagnant, the body (and mind) is not functioning well. We work with chakras to clear those energetic blocks and allow the energy to flow freely. While chakras cannot be seen or touched directly (unless you can see energy), each chakra corresponds to a particular endocrine gland in the body, has an... associated colour, sound, element, symbol and it also related to a particular aspect of our consciousness.
