20.01.2022 This is my country, Central Australia. We live in Alice Springs in the red centre. But you can see all these bright colours at sunset, not just red like that name, the red centre! When its raining it turns grey but this is the sunset, so bright and beautiful. My father used to do landscape, beautiful paintings which he sold everywhere in this town. Must be that people have my fathers paintings right now in their houses. Maybe you do? He had a lot of friends and they liked buy...ing his paintings . When I was sewing these landscapes I kept holding them up asking Milton can you have a look, can you see my fathers country when I hold them up. Milton said "its really good Marlene, you should keep doing landscapes". I w ill, but in my own way. My father was a painter but I found my own way, my sewing. My needle is my paint brush and my wool is those paints. I'm following in my fathers footsteps.
