23.01.2022 Classic Yabbie Moments Sat 15th October 2016, C grade, Casey Thomsen and Adam Mitchell came together at 2-59 in the 17th over batting first against Aura Vale. In the next 23 overs, these two put on a partnership of 212 Casey finished his innings ran out in the final over on an blistering 107. The reason they were running was because Adam was on 96 at the other end. Unfortunately for Adam, he was still on 96 not out at the end of the 40 overs.... Still though, an awesome achievement by both of them. Thoughts with James Stevenage who sat with the pads on for most of the afternoon, witnessed the fun and faced not many balls in the last over. For the records, Yabbies finished @ 3/275 off 40 overs and bowled out Aura Vale in the 26th over for 51

19.01.2022 SENIOR AND JUNIOR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2020/21 season, so if you are keen for a game we need any returning or new players to take a few moments and pre-register on the Mycricket link below. If all goes to plan, the WGCA season will start November 13 for juniors and November 14 for seniors which will be here in no time. However with this date not set yet, we are primarily asking for registration to help us plan and enter our sides accordingly, as well as ...update current player contact details which is a prerequisite. Registration for juniors and seniors: https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details New players always welcome, maybe you're new to the area or missed out on footy season. There is no requirement for membership fees to be paid at this time as they are still being finalised and dependant on a few external factors. Juniors are required to pay $5 insurance fee at time of registration, this is governed by Cricket Victoria. As an estimate, our membership playing fees may be at least 30% less than last season with the potential to be quite a bit more. Superdraw tickets for senior playing members will be added to this. Further clarification on all membership playing fees will be sent out in the upcoming weeks. If you are having problems logging in to register, please contact James Stevenage, [email protected] for support. Take care, register now and stay safe Adam Tucker PUTCC President
