22.01.2022 The Yackandandah Community Centre is working with our towns leading organisations to develop ways that we can work collectively during the COVID-19 health crisis. We are developing a Support Plan to link people with services and programs to help us all navigate through this unprecedented, and challenging time. Our aim is simple: To be a cohesive community that works together to ensure all those in our community are getting the help they need on every level. To do this we are ...asking for your help. Our initial call to action is simple: Visit our website www.ycc.org.au There you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions for innovative ways of dealing with daily life in the coming weeks. Or suggestions of services or programs which could be useful. Please complete our Community Ideas form to present us with your idea. Also, we are encouraging members of the community to volunteer as they are able. By completing our Volunteer form, we will be able to link your volunteering capacity with the services or organisations which need you. We hope that by working collaboratively we will be able to match the needs of everyone in our community with the services or volunteering capacity of our community. These are uncertain times but we are working to develop innovative ways to help Yackandandah come together for the common good. See more

04.01.2022 After months of being closed, due to COVID and building repairs, the Yack Community Centre Op Shop, in High Street, has opened again. Volunteers, Pauline and June opened the doors for the first time this morning. Thanks must go to all the YCC Op Shop volunteers for their enthusiasm and dedication to helping us reopen. We couldn't do it without them. YCC is celebrating the reopening of the Op Shop with a huge sale. So come in a grab a bargain while they last. We will also take donations again.
