23.01.2022 Our President, Steve Cairns has the pleasure of welcoming our new Musical Director, Yvonne Brown. Yvonne is an experienced professional conductor and brass tutor. She currently conducts high school bands at Ku-Ring-Gai High School, Baulkham Hills High School and Barrenjoey High School and is Band Director at Croydon Park Public School. She is totally committed to life-long learning and is currently setting an example by continuing her musical journey by studying conducting remotely with The Juilliard, which is recognised as one of the world's preeminent music schools.

18.01.2022 Yagoona District Band will begin rehearsals at the band hall from Monday 6th July 2020 between 7.30-9.30pm. The plan has been emailed to all members and is on display in the band room. Please do not attend rehearsals if you have any cold or flu like symptoms.... All people who attend will be required to sign in for each rehearsal. Hand sanitiser will be available The band hall will be set up to adhere to social distancing. Looking forward to making music again,
