25.01.2022 Yalga-binbi Institute for Community Development RTO Number 31116 Maritime Training for 2021... Our purpose-built training facilities are ideally located at 2 Marina Drive, Port of Bundaberg. We are a locally owned and operated Indigenous Registered Training Organization providing both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous students with hands-on learning resources and experiences. Our facilities include a well-equipped maritime workshop with an extensive range of static displays, resources, working engines, genset and spacious classrooms. We can offer government subsidized training to eligible students and can provide affordable and easily accessible accommodation. Our training includes real life maritime experiences with open water practical activities, including night navigation. Our wonderful trainers have vast industry experience and all necessary vocational training qualifications and marine certifications. On the strength of our ideal location in the Central Queensland region we perfectly placed to promote YBI as the RTO of choice for anyone wanting to develop their skills in the maritime industry. 2021 Calendar of Maritime Training Shipboard Safety Skill Set (2.5 days) February 22 24 May 24 26 August 9 11 October 25 27 General Purpose Hand (5 days including, Shipboard Safety Skill Set) February 22 - 26 May 24 - 28 August 9 - 13 October 25 - 29 Coxswain 1 (14 days inc.
