24.01.2022 YAY! after 6 weeks of having the "go bag" in the car (and having to put it to use 3 times), we all can finally unpack and get our lives back to "normal" . HUGE callout to all the local and out of district RFS crews - you did an amazing job in saving our Southern Villages under extraordinary circumstances. "we love yuz all!"

17.01.2022 The Annual Tango Bash last weekend in Bundanoon - 220 tango dancers descend on town for a weekend of feet blistering entertainment. Friday night supper for 170, afternoon tea Saturday and supper Saturday evening for 160 - job done!

15.01.2022 Sorry folks. Many of the national park roads and walking trails and around Bundanoon are waaaay too dangerous at present to use thus this notice. The Parks officers have to get in and assess the damage, remove dangerous trees and branches near the roads and trails, remediate steps, hand rails, fences and infrastructure. Its a HUGE job and will take some time. This closure includes the Iconic Glow Worm Glen trail which was badly impacted by last fortnights fire. Patience. We will let you know when they are open again to enjoy.

04.01.2022 HI everyone, we will be closed for the next few weeks due to the ongoing bushfires. Our street has been impacted but thankfully not as bad as first expected thanks entirely to the many firefighters that have made Bundanoon home for the past three weeks. The National Park has been hurt - badly. There are still fires in the gullies below us. Pray for rain.

03.01.2022 Our same french friend - Dominique (who shared the kangaroo over the snowfields highlighting France's support of the bushfire situation in Australia), is teaching in Kinshasa (capital DR Congo). She asked her year 9 class if they knew what was going on in Australia. This prompted a conversation. She circulated an A2 piece of paper around the class. This is the result. Loved it, and had to share. Thank you all!
