14.01.2022 Hi all & happy new year. The club will be open this coming Friday the 8th from 4pm onwards. We look forward to catching up with you all. All welcome. From the Saturday pennant selectors - the rooms will be open to allow all current players & any returning from injury etc to get your game up to playing standard. A game is not guaranteed, so get down & get up to game standard to force the selectors to pick u in the team for the coming weeks. Remember, it’s yr club, our club & the towns club.

14.01.2022 An update on our pennant teams progress. Midweek - after 3 rounds our midweek team are equal top and going nicely, well done and keep up the good work. Saturday - after the first 2 rounds we have won 3 rinks out of the 8. To say we are struggling for consistency would be an understatement. With more practice & experience we have no doubt the club is heading in the right direction for years to come. Footnote, the clubs new club rooms & uniforms have created a lot of interest & compliments from other clubs. Well done to all involved. Remember, your club, our club the towns club.

01.01.2022 'Why the historical photos?', you ask. The answer is a simple as it is concise: We're 40!! But also, If we don't remember and understand where we came from, we have no hope in safely navigating where we are going. Plan for tomorrow. But remember the past, for it holds key lessons for the days and years to come. Thank you to every person and organisation who helped build our great club over 40 great years. And thank you to those who had enough forethought and foresight to record it and preserve it for future generations to understand and appreciate. The Old Brown Coal Mine Museum
