06.01.2022 Congratulations to Stuart Yiwarr McGrath from Galiwinku, Elcho Island and the other First Nations Specialists that worked with Vicki Kerrigan to produce Ask th...e Specialist a Menzies School of Health Research podcast series to improve communication between health professionals and patients. Stuart is an Aboriginal Health practitioner and one of the first Yolngu Bachelor of Nursing students. He shows how we need to stamp out the racism of low expectations to get more First Nations health workforce in the NT, which WILL lead to happier, healthier lives.

01.01.2022 Yalu Aboriginal Corporation will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 15 September 2020. The meeting will be held in Galiwinku and the venue will be anno...unced soon. All members are welcome to attend. Have your say on voting in members for director positions and and proposed changes to the Yalu Rule Book (Constitution). Lunch will be provided. Yalu is a Yolngu organisation and is managed by a Yolgnu Board in Galiwinku who are the decision makers. If you would like to become a member then please drop into Yalu for a membership application.
