22.01.2022 Lifting students’ spirits with creative ways to keep improving. Week 2 of summer kata challenge: Taikyoku Jodan Kata. New location and focus every time. Today’s focus: making sure our punches are at the right level. Students then post their video in a dojo group chat. Sensei gives private feedback to each student at the end of the week. ... Love to hear your ideas on what you are trying during Covid restrictions.

17.01.2022 Looking for ways to lift students' spirits during these uncertain times? How about a summer kata challenge! The Roseville dojo students have been doing 1 kata a day at normal speed or the same kata at a different speed each day. Some have been lucky enough to be near a waterfall! And the advantage of making a short video like this is that students can see one area to improve and work on. Bonus! We'd love to see and hear what other dojos are doing!
