22.01.2022 An official soil turning ceremony was held on site last week to mark the commencement of construction on Yamanto Central Shopping Centre

19.01.2022 Progress continues on site at Yamanto Central with builder Mainbrace Constructions half way through pouring the 25,000m2 suspended ground floor slab. Builders have commenced erecting the precast panels for Coles. The first stage of structural steel to follow at the start of next month.

19.01.2022 On site at Yamanto Central the roof is now completed for the southern section of the shopping centre incorporating Coles and the Market Hall fresh food precinct. Sheeting to the walls is currently being installed. At the northern end of the shopping centre all the pre-cast wall panels have been completed and steel work to Kmart and surrounding specialty stores is almost complete.

17.01.2022 The below time-lapse video shows the progress of bulk earthworks completed at Yamanto Central Shopping Centre prior to Christmas. After a short Christmas break Mainbrace Constructions are now back on site at Yamanto Central working on building foundations and in-ground services for the shopping centre. 09.01.2022 Coles roof is now on Yamanto Central has hit another major milestone on its construction journey. Roof sheeting has commenced with Coles tenancy now complete and the rest of the Market Hall fresh food precinct to follow in the coming weeks. Precast panels and steel for Kmart commence this week

06.01.2022 Construction of Yamanto Central shopping centre is progressing to program with all the steel work for Coles almost complete. The remaining concrete panels will start to go up on site in two stages, while on the other end of the shopping centre site the Kmart slab is being poured and downstairs the last 3 basement pours are being finalised.

05.01.2022 Early basement construction works continue on site at Yamanto Central Shopping Centre and include detailed excavations and footings, waterproofing retaining walls, shear walls & columns, in-ground hydraulic services, basement slab-on-ground and form work to ground floor suspended slabs. With the current COVID-19 pandemic in our community, builder Mainbrace Constructions has implementing extensive site based protocols aligning with the current Government recommendations to support the health and wellbeing of their staff, subcontractors, clients and the community. Consequently, at this stage we have not experienced any major delays in relation to the planned completion date of Yamanto Central Shopping Centre early to mid 2021.
