The photographer Patrick Keeling Booth was born on the Cocos Keeling Islands in 1972. A veteran surfer and seasoned traveller, Patrick started the Lazydaze venture in 2016 with a focus on birds, occasionally shooting landscapes and has already started making the shortlists of some major national competitions. ~ Lazydaze is not only Patricks creative and artistic outlet, but also a platform where he can share his love of nature and its conservation. ~ Lazydaze is based on ethical nature photography practices, with minimal impact on subjects and the environment. His photography techniques are often boat based, using powerful telephoto lenses and can involve tracking individual subjects for weeks on end in order to capture a series of images. My "Work" or how i go about this job is creating artwork as my natural strength is in visual communication. I hope my work can be a catalyst for individuals further connection, growth and expansion within there own inner world and there relationship to themselves as it has for me. 14.01.2022 As an artist art educator I'm constantly inspired by my students. I teach visual art tuition to children and youth from the Clarence Valley. My students creative expression and imaginations I aim to nuture through my art teaching.... I know I'm the teacher but Im often the student. I'm often visually and mentally reminded by my students that creativity is a gift from the soul that we are all born with. One of my favourite contemporary artist's now exhibiting at YAS gallery is emerging visual artist Kade Valja @kadevaljart - born and currently based in northern NSW. Originally a graffiti writer and in early teenage-hood began exploring and practicing traditional as well as contemporary mediums in unison with his dynamic street/graffiti disciplines.... Pictured are two recent sculptures recycled from scrap metal and bronze through melting, casting & creating Now on exhibition & available for purchase along with recent paintings and sculptures Kade explores a wide range of media including studio/mural and live painting, sculpture, animated drawing, installment, augmented and virtual reality installment and textiles.
