24.01.2022 Yamba CWA had a lovely morning at our meeting yesterday. We welcomed guest speaker, Giane Smajstr from #ourhealthyclarence who spoke to us about youth suicide and what we can do to help those suffering with mental health issues. Our cooking was fairy cakes with a variety between us. We will have craft next week and then our next meeting will be our AGM and will be held in October. We always are looking for new members and all are welcome.

09.01.2022 Today was to be our International Day on Ecuador. We had members away, no school children allowed, teacher of children absent. So as these things were beyond our control we made the decision to cancel. One positive of the day was that Alice from Cake Me Away From Here made us a lovely cake decorated in the Ecuadorian colours. So there was more to go around for the few that attended our meeting. For those who would like to know the cake was... Strawberry Dream cake, nectarine jam, citrus milk crumb and Vanilla Swiss Meringue buttercream. It was delicious and we thank Alice for her contribution to our day. We will now reschedule our International Day for early next year. See more
