25.01.2022 My bold prediction of Mighty Manly making the top four has certainly come back to bite me on the bum. They will be lucky to make the top eight. They could not have played any worse on the weekend if they tried. They actually stopped me from tipping a full round. On paper, round nine looked harder to tip than it actually was. Steve P and Paul T also got seven right. Most tipsters got six or five right except for Dave B got four and defending champ, Julie E, had a shocke...r with only three right. Judith F got six right and has kept herself in the lead on 52pts. Julie C and John B are next on 50pts. Graeme R is all on his own on 49pts then on 48pts is Dave B and Pauline R. There are a few tipsters fighting for the wooden spoon on 43pts and that would be Greg W, Heather P and Kerry H. It seems Storm keep finding new ways to bend the rules. Feigning injury is becoming a habit for Jesse Bromwich. He needs to get fitter if he needs a breather all the time and of course Cameron Smith never lets up on his conversations with the refs. The Kiwis should have lost more points for the chequer board jerseys in their game against Titans. Even though the Eels were favourites i thought the Knights would have played a better game and there is not much to say about Josh Reynolds and my least favourite player, Laterall Mitchell. Sure Josh Reynolds could have been going for the ball but he's a bad shot, then Laterall is just an idiot. Supporters need to stop using his 'young' age as an excuse. Round 10 looks straight forward enough to pick winners. Roosters and Storm are a given, worse luck, Broncos will be confident after their win last week and will give the Tigers a run for their money. Dragons and Dogs could go either way with Dogs and a new coach. Rabbits and Knights should be the free to air telly game. This should be a great game and close. Another Saturday night game is Mighty Manly taking on the Eels. It doesn't seem that long ago that these two teams played each other. I wasn't happy with that result so hopefully this one is different. The last two games are a bit ordinary. Kiwis play the sharks, both need a win and then to finish off the round Panthers play the poor old Cowgirls. Should be a win for Penny Panthers. As usual, tips need to be in before kickoff Thursday night and good luck to your team, except maybe the Eels. I'm sick of buying lottery tickets, so Manly, pull your socks up. See more

20.01.2022 The footy tipping competition for 2020 is done and dusted with the winners grinning and the loosers looking forward to next year, a lot like some of our favourite teams. The sausage sizzle to make the end of the tipping was a lot of fun with those that could get here did so and enjoyed Steve P's cooking skills. There really was not a lot of surprises on who finished on the podium although third place was a little crowded. First place on 118 pts was Julie C, again. Julie was e...Continue reading

20.01.2022 The all important question on all tipsters lips "how did i go in the tipping compared to other tipsters", well all will be revealed at the sausage sizzle on October 10th. The barbie will start at 2pm as i have to work in the morning. I'm disapponted that no tipsters have tried to bribe me into telling them where and how they went in round 19. There were the usual round of winners in round 19 but a few upset shockers and the less said about them the better but i will ...comment. Rabbits getting beaten by the prospective wooden spooners was bad enough then Manly get beaten by Titans, admittedly the Titans have been on a roll of wins lately, no excuse for Manly's flogging though. In other games, Panthers and Eels were always going to win although i did think the Eels should have won by more against the very low placed Broncos. Storm ,Roosters, Raiders and Knights were straight forward winners and it was great to see Ricky Stuart throw his water bottle. He's always been entertaining to watch on the sidelines. It's going to cost him though. Round 20 brings us to the end of the tipping competition. It's all a bit sad really. Yes we have semis, finals and the grand final followed by the state of origin so we can all have our footy fix for a few more weeks. How hot for the players will it be playing state of Origin in November.? Round 20 kicks of on Thurs night with the Broncos taking on the C'girls. Will not affect the league ladder but to tipsters, this is a hard pick. Titans play Knights on Friday night and Knights will need to be on their toes for this one. The telly game sees Rabbits playing arch rivals Roosters. Rabbits need to play a whole lot better than last week. Saturday night starts with Doggies playing Knights followed by Sharks taking on the Raiders and finishing with Tigers playing Eels. Some obvious picks there but some teams are so confident that they are resting a few key players. No problems with Manly resting players, we'll be struggling to field a full team with some on the bench. They take on the Kiwis in the first of the Sunday games with Dragons playing Storm in the telly game. You never know, Dragons might cause an upset and it will be worthy of being on t.v. Tips in before kickoff Thursday night, choose wisely cause this is it, so good luck tipsters, hope your team has a win and it's a good weekend all round. See more

16.01.2022 Okay tipsters a rethink on the sausage sizzle. Saturday the 3rd of October is the long weekend and it's a good chance for tipsters to go away and have a good hard look at where they lost the tipping competition. The sausage sizzle will now be on the following Saturday the 10th. No ifs, buts or questions asked, end of discussion. It that a bit harsh. Nah, i just have to pick a date and go with it. I think the biggest discussion will be around whether the onions go on the bottom of the sanga or top. So many life decisions. Good luck tipsters and a special good luck to Mighty Manly.

15.01.2022 We're at the pointy end of the footy competition and it's very exciting. Sure not all our favourite teams made it this far but regardless it's still exciting. At this time of year you can't be a fence sitter. If you want to enjoy the finals then pick a team and back them. Personally i'm backing Rabbits and after their win on Sunday arvo, they appear to be peaking at the right time. Penny Panthers nearly dropped their lolly bag against a fast finishing Roosters. Panther...s got off to a brillant start and stunned the Roosters but then relaxed and the Roosters nearly won. Lucky Nathan Cleary had his kicking boots on and was very exact with his kicks that led to tries and the field goal. The SBW saga has come back to bite Roosters on the bum because he was not at the game and apparently he's not as fit or as tough as he and they thought he was. Raiders and Sharks game started off try for try but in the end Ricky Stuart's old age and treachery was too much for the younger John Morris team. Eels looked to have the edge over Storm but Cameron Smith was at his best when his team is behind, he was up laughing in the refs face about decisions and then he lifted a Eels player in a tackle and it did not look like any action would be taken but common sense prevailed and he was put on report. Again the Storm pulled a swifty by calling a halt in the play so a poor player could get help with his cramps. Really!!!! It would be nice to see Cameron Munster sit out a few games at this time of year but with a week off he will probably be back by then. Ryan Papenhuyzen was the difference in the end and the best news about him is that he's a Blues player. Of course the game of the round was between Rabbits and Knights. Rabbits cannot let teams get away to such a good start and then have to play catch up footy. Once they started to score there was no stopping them. Again the little men were running rings around the opposition and scoring tries. Hopefully no injuries for their game against the Eels. Julie E was a good sport about it all as she watched the game with two Rabbits supporters. Friday night game will be between Roosters and Raiders. This could be a spiteful game after last years grand final. Raiders deserve to win. Saturday night has the Rabbits against the Eels. Rabbits need to bring their A game and start running when that whistle blows the start of the game, not 10mins later. Next Saturday, 10th of October, is the sausage sizzle. 2pm at the ferry wharf barbie area. Bring your own refreshments and wear your team colours. Alternate venue will be at 14 Harbour st if needed. Sorry to say but it will come to a halt when the Rabbits run on the field at 7.30. Good luck to Rabbits and Raiders. What a grand final that would be. See you all at the sausage sizzle. See more

14.01.2022 It's a toss up between the covid virus and the rugby league as to which one gets the most headlines. Lucky we have got the footy , it's something else to talk about and it never fails to deliver. I recall wondering last week if we could get through the week without any dramas, appears not. Once again the Broncos hogged the beginning of the week with Pangai Jr, followed buy the players all going out for a good time. Of course the players were cleared of doing anything wrong b...Continue reading

12.01.2022 We have a new leader. Julie C has hit the lead after picking the perfect round and gaining 2 bonus points. Julie was not on her own in picking the round though. Cameron P also picked well and has moved onto the podium to tie in 3rd place. Before a full report on where tipsters sit on their points we'll discuss the footy from round 15. Eels upset a lot of tipsters by beating the Storm. Sure Storm were missing some key players but they were missing the week they flogged Ro...osters so no excuse. Now they are without Brandon Smith with the poor bugger getting a broken jaw for all his efforts. And did the Eels milk penalties for the crusher tackles, hummm, amazing how quick some of those players recovered after the penalty was awarded. Panthers were always going to beat the Sharkies and Dragons made hard work of their win over the Broncos. Good to see Broncos have a go though. Raiders and Roosters had similar score lines over their opponents and were always expected to win. I'm sure Manly's first grade team were sent to the wrong ground for their game with Rabbits cause they sure as hell didn't turn up to play. Cherry Evans had a shocker which included a falcon. The Kiwis made a big comeback to make sure the Doggies stayed on the bottom and saved the Broncos from being pushed down there. No I'm not feeling sorry for Broncos, never, but there is still a few weeks for them to work their way down there. The Knights were another team that made hard work of their win over the Cowgirls. It did put the Knights in the top 8. They will have to do it without newcomer Blake Green with a suspected knee injury. Julie C moved to the top on 90pts courtesy of the perfect round. John B is relegated 2nd on 88pts and on 87pts is Cameron P and Graeme R in 3rd spot. Tied on 86pts is Judith F and Julie E followed closely on 85pts is Pauline R and Paul T. Match of round 16 will be the Friday night telly game between Eels and Rabbits. Both had good wins in rd 15 and will want to continue that winning streak. Dragons and Titans could go either way and the telly game is between Roosters and Broncos. Roosters won't lose 2 in a row. Knights will need to play better this week in their match against the Kiwis, Sharkies take on the Cowgirls and Panthers should make short work over the Tigers. Manly do not need anymore t.v games. Sunday arvo telly game has Storm taking on mighty Manly, miracles do happen. Finishing off rd 16 is Raiders playing the Doggies. Should be a Raiders win for sticky Ricky Stuart. Only 4 rounds to go so we need all tipping money paid. It's $27 and that includes the sausage sizzle after the rounds finish. No tipping for the finals rounds or the state of origin matches. At this stage the sausage sizzle will be on Saturday the 3rd of October. Tips in before kickoff Thursday night and all will be good. And good luck to mighty Manly. See more

12.01.2022 Lots of movers and shakers on and off the footy field and in the footy tipping. It seemed a very straight forward draw for rd 17 but as usual there were the upsets. Panthers, Storm and Roosters were the obvious winners to pick, although the Rabbits gave Storm a scare, they just could not finish off like teams such as Storm. Knights were bruised and battered in their match against the Sharkies. Chad Townsend did his best to take Kayln Ponga's head off and Wade Graham and his ...mate tried to split a Knights player in two. Mighty Manly choked and let Tigers in, so nice of them, but Adam Doueihi was brillant with his kicks from the side line. Eels tried their best to lose against the Warriors and will have to pick their game up heading into the final rounds. Superman Sonny ran out of puff after 15 mins on the field but apparently his appearance made good T.V ratings. Valentine Holmes finally earned his money when he booted a field goal for the Cowgirls to end the Dragons misery. The podium winners is looking a little different. Tied in first spot on 100pts is Julie C and John B. Julie had a shocker only tipping 5 correct. Julie E is making a move and after tipping 7 right has moved into second spot on 99 pts then on his own in third spot on 98 pts is Graeme R. It's a bit clogged on 4th position with Cameron P, Judith F, Pauline R and Dave Ball on 97 pts. Pauline was another tipster who got 7 right. Going down the ladder sees Paul T on 96, Steve P 95, Kerry H 93 the two Micks on 92 and yours truly on 91, not my year, Manly kept letting me down. Heather P went for some real roughies but it back fired and she is on 86pts and Greg W, who has occasionally forgotten his tips, is looking like a wooden spooner. Thank goodness we don't have to put up with the Broncos hogging the free to air telly games this weekend. Thursday night sees the Tigers play the Rabbits. Tigers are out of the top eight but Rabbits need to keep their guard up and cement their spot in the top eight. Doggies play Manly on Friday night, surely Manly can beat the wooden spooners, but i won't hold my breath. Great telly game for Friday night with the Panthers playing the Eels. Pick of the Saturday night games will be between Roosters and Knights. There is talk by Knights coach that Ponga will be rested for this game. Other games are Dragons playing Raiders and Titans playing Broncos. Storm play the Cowgirls in the Sunday arvo free to air telly game then Sharkies play the Kiwis. Sharkies could struggle this game without a few key players. Yes tips need to be in before kick off Thursday night, pick wisely, hope your team has a win and I'm praying for my team. Till next week. See more

09.01.2022 We have a new equal leader in the pointscores. Cameron P, along with Paul T, managed to tip the round and score themselves a bonus 2 pts. This has put Cameron on the podium at this stage, equal first with Julie C, who is hanging onto the lead. They are on 107pts. Like a lot of tipsters, we all came so close getting 7 right but there was one or two games that could go either way. John B has slipped to equal second with Paul T on 106pts. Julie E and Graeme R are equal third on ...105pts. Next up is Judith F and Dave B on 104pts, followed on 103pts is Pauline R then Steve P on 102. Sorry to the rest of the tipsters but like some of our teams running around each week, we're now just making up the numbers. Week 18 games was straight forward with no controversy to really talk about. Although the Eels need to win their next 2 games to stay in the top four. Thank goodness Manly managed a win over the wooden spooners and how nice for Cameron Munster to score two tries on his birthday. I'm sure the Cowgirls were just as happy for him. Rabbits are starting rival the Broncos for hogging the telly games. Thursday night the Rabbits take on the Doggies. Rabbits better not think this is an easy game as the Doggies managed to score 20pts against Manly. Friday night telly game, surprise, surprise is Broncos playing the Eels. Broncos scored more points than Eels in round 18 so maybe this will be a close game. C'girls will play Panthers in the other Friday night game. Saturday night starts with Manly playing Titans. This could be tricky. Titans have had a good run the last few weeks so Manly need to be at their best. Storm play Tigers and the Roosters play Sharkies. Sunday arvo telly game is Knights verses the Dragons. To finish the weekend the Raiders play the Kiwis. Raiders and Knights both need wins to keep their spots in the top 8. The reports for the last two rounds will only have game updates and previews but no tipsters pointscores. Like all good awards, it is a secret till after round 20 and then presentation at the barbie. No, i will not take any bribes, well you could try, but it makes for an exciting finish. The barbie will be on Oct 10th at the ferry park wharf barbie, weather permitting. We do have an alternate venue in case of rain or wind. Part of your tipping money pays for the nibbles and sausage sizzle and all you tipsters need are refreshments and to wear your team colours. Get those tips in before kick off Thursday night, pick wisely and good luck to all your favourite teams. Go Manly. See more

09.01.2022 This is my second go at writing this report. Nearly finished the original and pressed the wrong button and it disappeared somewhere.aarrgghh. When will these footballers learn that they are not immune to any virus or bug that is going around the community. Do they really think that people won't recognise them and the for one player, Paul Vaughn to give a false name, what an idiot. Broncos have 3 people to miss the next few matches, one player, one coach and the spare player, ...Alfie. Is Seibold leaving before getting the sack, just wondering. Wayne Bennett can be excused cause he does have early stages of dementia, poor old bugger. Even his partner rang around the media and stood up for him. These people have broken the rules and have let their team down and will miss a couple of games which could make the difference between making the top 8 or not. Well Broncos haven't got a hope in hell of that. Mighty Manly certainly let down most tipsters. Only one tipster picked the Kiwis but some other selections let her down. After picking 7 right for the last 3 weeks, there is a new leader in the tipping competition. John B has moved to the lead on 75pts. Coming second on 74pts is Julie C and Graeme R and back in third spot on 73pts is Judith F, Julie E and Dave B. On 72pts is Pauline R and Paul T then on 71 is Sue, Steve and Cameron P. Still bringing up the rear is Greg W. Both Greg and his Broncos are looking good for the wooden spoon. The Thurs night telly game is between Roosters and Storm. Hopefully they belt the crap out of each other. Roosters will welcome back some of their star players while Storm will be missing some of their stars. Cameron Munster is out for awhile with a sore knee but he's lucky to keep his head after the tackle from Lachlan Lewis. The Kiwis will play the Penny Panthers on Friday night. The Kiwis have a new coach so things might change around for them. Panthers coach had a whinge about the ref even though his team had a win. Yep, he deserved the fine. Dessie Hasler and Ricky Stuart have certainly paid their fair share of fines. The telly game is Eels against Dragons. Dragons have to remember there is 80 mins in a game not 20 or 40 mins. The Saturday night games are Sharks v Titans, C'girls v Rabbits and Raiders v Broncos. Then on Sunday, we have Mighty Manly taking on the Knights. Dessie will need to work a miracle to get a decent Manly team on the field following an injury to Fonua-Blake and Martin Taupau. Then the telly game sees Tigers v Doggies. That one could go either way. Who knows what team combinations coach Maguire will come up with for this game. Lets hope the rest of the week is free from any more dramas with players and coaches .Think carefully before putting your tips in but make sure they're in before kick off Thursday night and alls good. Good luck to your team except maybe Knights, sorry Julie E. See more

07.01.2022 Tipping in round 11 looked straight forward enough and lots of tipsters were headed to picking the round then lo and behold the Knights let everybody down. Of course with so many tipsters picking 7 right it made for interesting changes in the podium line up. Julie C is now equal leader with Judith F. Round 11 was not one of Judith's better rounds as she only got 4 right. Both tipsters are now on 62pts. It's a little crowded on 61pts with John B, Pauline R, Graeme R a...nd Dave B. Lurking on 60pts all on her own is Julie E. The defending champ is just waiting to make her move on the leaders. No one is safe. Hovering on 59pts is Sue P followed by Steve P, Paul T and Cameron P all on 58pts. All games in round 11 went according to how they looked on paper, all but the Knights going down to the bottom of the table team the Doggies. The result in the game between Sharkies and Dragons could have been different if the bunker got the call right, wonder what they were watching. Anyway those bunker boys will be looking in the position vacant column in the local paper. Penny Panthers are now sitting on the top table on 19pts. Eels and Storm are tied on 18pts then a big gap back on 14pts are Roosters and Raiders. Knights are on 13pts and rounding out the top eight on 12pts are Sharkies and Mighty Manly. Hopefully we'll see a different minor premier this year, the last few years has been a bit ordinary with either Storm or Roosters dominating. No SBW talk this week. There's enough about him in the papers. It's all too much. Thusday night game could go either way but Rabbits will have their secret weapon back on the field with Latrell Mitchell back from suspension. Dragons will be hoping some calls go their way but not too many that they beat the Rabbits. Who would have thought that the Broncos would be the Friday night telly game. They take on the Sharkies. The earlier game is between the Tigers and Kiwis. Most good tipsters will be taking the Tigers. Titans take on the Roosters in the first of the Saturday night games followed by Raiders verses C'girls and then game of the night is between Mighty Manly and the Penny Panthers. Manly will need to do plenty of homework on the Panthers before this game. The early game on Sunday arvo is the Eels playing Doggies then the telly game is between Storm and Knights. The Knights will have to play way better than last week if they don't want to be embarassed by Storm. Don't forget, tips in before kickoff Thursday night. Good luck to all tipsters, some of our teams are going to need it and of course calls to go their way. Knights have no chance against Cameron Smith doing their game, again good luck tipsters and go Manly. See more

05.01.2022 The weekend of upsets did not last long enough to give Manly a win over Storm on Sunday afternoon. The Rabbits certainly made short work of Eels to start round 16 off on the right foot. Titans were next to cause an upset with a brillant come from behind win over the hapless Dragons. Roosters were always going to beat the Broncos but for the Kiwis to beat the Knights was so unexpected, although some tipsters did take them. The favourites for the next three games did not disapp...oint. Not much change in the tipping ladder. Julie C is just hanging onto the the lead on 95pts, snapping at her heels is John B on 94pts closely followed by Graeme R and Cameron P on 93pts. Next on 92pts is Judith F and Julie E, Dave B is on his own on 91 and Steve P and Pauline R on 90pts. Then it goes Kerry H, then the two Micks , then Sue P, Heather P and Greg W. Mick F and Dave B both picked 7 right for round 16, most tipsters got 6 and a few got 5 right. All the hype around the round 17 seems to be if Sonny Bill Williams will play or not. Personally i don't care too much for him. He did the dirty on rugby league, did he sneak out of the country in the dark, and they are falling all over him like his a long lost brother. He's 35 just had knee surgery and he's the next big thing, really. Doesn't say much for the guys playing now. The Roosters don't need him and he's keeping league on the front page of papers. Picking winners in round 17 is not all straight forward like it's suppose to be at the end of a competition. Thursday night telly game sees non other than Panthers and Broncos. Panthers have had a very favourable draw so have minimum injuries. Knights and Sharkies will be a tough one and could go either way. Rabbits without Latrell Mitchell take on the Storm. Storm ran riot over poor Manly last round but i'd like to think Rabbits can rough them up win. Dogs v Titans and Manly v Tigers are making up the numbers with all teams out of the running for the finals run. Raiders and Roosters should be a good game, as long as Rooster's Jared Warea Hargraves is kept in check. He's such a nasty player and dirty. Some people call him a hard player but no, he's dirty. Sunday telly game is between the Kiwis and Eels. For a warm fuzzy feeling i'd like to see the Kiwis win. Lucky last game is between C'girls and Dragons, thank goodness it's not the telly game. All footy tippping money will need to be paid up please. The end of the season is the end of the tipping and the sausage sizzle will be on Saturday the 10th Oct. If it's a good day it be at the ferry wharf barbie otherwise at yours truly. Wear your footy colours whether your a winner or loser. Tipsters husbands, wives and partners are invited. Good luck with round 17 tipsters, get those all important tips in by kick off Thurs night and please Manly bring me a little joy with a win over Tigers. See more

05.01.2022 Good to see some teams finish on a win for 2020. Lucky for some of the top eight teams that a loss did not affect their positions where as with the tipping competition it made a difference. Most tipsters went with the favourites, some went for the upsets and some just choked. It was satisfying to see the Broncos win the the wooden spoon but it did not seem to faze them as it was all about Darius Boyd's baby gender reveal after the game. So important to put that out there ...for all to see and know. Does he really think we care. Titans gave the Knights a bit of a dust up and then to round off the Friday night games, the Rabbits flogged the Roosters. That loss could not happen to a nicer team. Regardless of whether the Rooster tanked it or not, the Rabbits little speedsters ran rings around the big Roosters players. Panthers made sure that the Doggies did not come anywhere near beating them, Raiders were taking no chances against the Sharkies and the Eels needed to finish the competition on a high. Sunday games saw the Kiwis outplay the hapless Sea Eagles and the Dragons won against a second rate Storm team. Storm are so precious, wrap their best players in cotton wool and then only play twelve players in the last ten minutes. The semis this weekend sees some great match ups. Starting on Friday night is the penny Panthers taking on the Roosters. Fingers crossed that the Panthers have not run out of steam and can win the game. As long as the referee keeps onto JWH and Jake Friend, if he plays, for their sneaky dirty little tactics. Raiders play the Sharkies in the first of the Saturday night games and Raiders will go in full of confidence after last weekends win and the second game has the Storm taking on the Eels. The Eels need to bring their A game as Storm will want to send Cameron Smith off as a winner. Hopefully he will retire if they win. We have to wait till Sunday arvo for the match of the round between Rabbits and Knights. Rabbits should have come down off cloud 9 by now and the Knights will need to play way better than last week. Winning tipsters will be announced at the sausage sizzle on Saturday 10th October. This will be held at 2pm at the barbie near the ferry wharf. All tipsters and their partners are invited and only need to bring refreshments.14 Harbour st will be the alternate venue if the weather is not so nice. If your team has played well enough to be playing this weekend then good luck to them. Tipping may have finished but we still have weeks left to get our footy fix. As my Mighty Manly team only just missed the top 8, i will have to go for the Rabbits. Good luck to your favourite team. See more

05.01.2022 Round 10 of the 2020 footy season got off to a brillant start with an almighty win to the underdogs, Raiders, over those cocky Roosters. Surprisingly 3 tipsters did take Raiders. Raiders deserve every win they get as every week they have another player added to their injury list but the team can never be underestimated. Storm were always going to beat the Titans and the Tigers enjoyed a comfortable win over the Broncos. I actually heard someone feel sorry for the Broncos. Tha...Continue reading

02.01.2022 It's getting very crowded on the podium after the results of round 12. Unless a tipster has a few breakaway rounds then the prize money will be very thin if it has to be shared around. Four tipsters are leading on 68pts. Judith F, Pauline R, Julie C and come from behind tipster John B. John managed to tip 7 right. Even second spot is crowded with Dave B, Julie E and Graeme R are all on 67pts. Back on 65pts is Paul T and then on 64pts are the three P's Sue, Steve and Cameron. ...There are still plenty of weeks of comp left but most tipsters are tipping the same with only the die hard team supporters picking their team whether they have a chance of winning or not. Some lower placed teams certainly gave their higher placed teams a scare in round 12. Titans, Cowgirls and Doggies gave their opposition a run for their money, Penny Panthers ran amok over poor Mighty Manly and Warriors certainly upset the Tigers. Took Rabbits a little while to get going over the Dragons but in the end it was easy and Alex Johnston had to be man of the match. It seems like the refs are getting a little whistle shy with the precious Roosters. Apparently James Tedesco should have been sin binned for an offence but wasn't, then later in the match a Titans player was sin binned for a lesser offence. Although little Jake Friend doesn't have the same finesse as Cameron Smith, he's so annoying refs don't want to deal with him. As if Roosters need any more big name players but there was no way any other team was going to get SBW. He is so pampered and of course can do no wrong. Because of his religion he doesn't believe in sponsors or banks amongest other things. Wonder where he puts his money!! Strange religion. Wouldn't it be nice if the Roosters gave a few players to help out the Kiwis. Round 13 games look straight forward on paper but there is always a chance of an upset or two. There were plenty of injuries to come out of round 12 most notable Cameron Smith. Don't think to many tears will be shed over his absence. Hopefully Dragons can give the Roosters a scare in the Thursday night game. Friday night has Mighty Manly take on the Kiwis, fingers crossed Manly get the win and the T.V game sees the Rabbits play the Broncos. Rabbits need to get on the front foot and not let Broncos get a lead and have to chase them down. Saturday night games has Storm play the Doggies, Knights play Tigers and game of the night and should have been a free to air telly game, the Panthers play Raiders. It's a toss of the coin for a winner between Titans and Cowgirls in the first of Sunday games and the the telly game is Sharkies verses Eels. Sharkies are just cruising along , staying out of headlines and bringing in a few young players to take over from the injured old boys. Tips in before the Thursday night game and good luck to your team.pressure on Mighty Manly this week but surely they can get a win over the Kiwis. See more
