This means our clinic will return to normal appointments with some slight changes:... Our staff will ask you COVID-19 related questions when booking your appointment Masks are compulsory in public and we request you keep your mask on in our waiting area. Please keep your mask on until your dentist advises you to remove your mask Ensure you sanitise your hands immediately on entering our clinic Sign in is compulsory for all visitors to our clinic, whether this is by the SafeWA app or a manual sign in register Adults are kindly requested to attend appointments alone and we ask only one parent to accompany children to their appointment; please inform our staff if this affects you as we will allow compassionate exemptions for carers etc If you notice more than 3 adults in the waiting area when you attend our clinic, please wait outside until a staff member calls you in Our team will be contacting all patients who had appointments cancelled this week and we ask for your patience during this time. 25.01.2022 Dear community, Due to the increasing community transmission of COVID-19 and increasing restrictions on daily practices in Australia, dental clinics have been advised to limit care they provide to treatment for dental emergencies and patients requiring urgent dental treatment only. A description of the conditions that qualify are listed below. What is a dental emergency?... A dental emergency is a situation that requires immediate treatment. This can include: - Facial swelling - Facial trauma Both facial swelling and trauma have the potential to affect your airway. Immediate treatment should be sought for these conditions. What is urgent dental treatment? Urgent dental treatment involves providing care for conditions that cause significant pain, infection or directly affect your health and wellbeing. This can include: - Severe dental pain, usually affecting sleep - An abscess or infection within the mouth - Tooth fracture where the nerve becomes exposed - Dental trauma from accidents or sports causing teeth to be knocked out or moved from their original place in the mouth - Medically necessary dental treatment prior to medical or surgical procedures that cannot be delayed It is important that you DO NOT ATTEND our clinic if you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms including cough, fever, sore throat or difficulty in breathing. Please be assured if you are attending for treatment, that under the guidance of the ADA, Yanchep Central Dental has implemented further infection control measures to keep you and us safe. We ask you to please attend for treatment alone or if required with one parent, guardian or carer. Although the treatments we can provide to you have been restricted for the time being, please know we are here to continue helping you care for your oral health. 22.01.2022 Great news! Dental restrictions have started to ease. We are now on Level 1 as advised by the ADA. We want to thank all our patients and community for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. As we are all aware, we are not out of the woods yet, but we continue to provide our patients with the utmost care and safety when attending our clinic. We are pleased to advise that we can now see patients for their regular recall appointments and all dental trea...tment needs. 09.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Yanchep Central Dental remains committed to our community through the coronavirus pandemic and are following latest government and Australian Dental Association guidelines to keep our patients and our staff safe. Yesterday, the ADA has recommended to members that dental practices enter level 2 restrictions on services, impacting the delivery of routine dental treatment.... As a result, we will be postponing all non urgent and elective treatment, including routine cleans. We remain open for emergencies and urgent treatment, so if you have any dental issues please do not hesitate to contact our staff. We are more than happy to help if we can or guide you appropriately.
