We extracted the problem teeth while she was under anaesthetic for her sterilisation operation. 12.01.2022 Daisy has a tooth that stayed below the gum. At first we thought it was just a missing tooth. However you can see in the x-ray that it is hiding under the gum and has caused a cyst to form. These hidden teeth can form cysts in a short period of time. The fluid from the cyst has put pressure on the jaw bone and caused massive erosion of Daisy's jaw. She is not far off breaking her jaw from normal activity. This cyst would have continued to grow and eventually caused a fractur...e. Dr Rebecca Nilsen carefully removed the cyst and the lining. Daisy will recover and the damaged area should gradually repair itself, allowing her to live a long and happy life. Has your pet got missing teeth? 11.01.2022 LOST IN AMBERTON ESTATE (EGLINTON) around 8:30am today. He may be a bit shaken or frightened. His name is Stevie and he is a Weiro (Cockatiel).... He has a mostly gray body with some white on his wings, orange on his cheeks and yellow on his head. Stevie responds to the Adams Family tune when whistled or Don’t Worry Be Happy. He is a good boy. He needs to be approached gently but is a really sweet bird. If you spot Stevie please call Tamika on 0476 602 615. He is very loved and missed!
